I don't recall people stopping buying merchandise during that time
You have to distinguish acceptance between new released and an "aged" logo
People absolutely were besotted with Football Park in the beginning ......until the media started questioning the age, and lack of development at Football Park .....it was then that love turned into hate
Much like when a family friend gets the latest new car .....suddenly your quite acceptable car goes on the nose

I refused to buy any raptor logo merch. In contrast my kids just bought me a bucket hat with the new logo on for Xmas. Absolutely love it, so good.

Yep I wouldn’t buy anything with the raptor and for someone who posts so prolifically, surely Wayne saw the same posts and yet still came up with that post
Wayne just talks shit non stop.
I only bought one piece of merch with the logo on it which was a BLK blackout hat. Cos that was the only way I thought the logo looked acceptable.

There is heaps of the Raptor stuff out there, saw heaps over Christmas people must have got for gifts
Mind you, i saw a few people on the new logo apparel and it just looks so much better.
Got my members pack today and I've completely turned on the logo.
I hated it when it was leaked. On the dark blue background though, it looks elite. Loving it.

So my son bought me a t-shirt for Xmas with the new logo ... kind of a tip of the hat on how much it has grown on us after seeing it in the wild.
I noticed something today while wearing it (having spent too long looking at the damn thing over the last few months) :

Someone has snapped the vertice for the red "wing" to the wrong place.

To finish the ongoing story …
Was contacted by the club last week, credit where credit’s due.
“Tim forwarded the below to me to look into, which I have investigated with the AFL, who manage the licensing program and licensee relationships.
Unfortunately, a production error has occurred with the issue stemming from a digital transmission fault to the next stage of production.
We apologise for this and would be happy to offer you a refund or credit for the item. Please me know what you would prefer and I will organise it right away through the Crows Shop.”
Now, the explanation was very much run through the spin cycle … they could have just said “the bloody AFL sent the wrong version to the printers” - but the outcome is very fair.
Refund on its way.
