Actually, a review like the one they undertook tend to get clubs back on track pretty fast. They have been running around for two years not understanding that the issue was cultural. The review was pretty thorough by the sounds of it and provides a framework for them to put the correct structures in place to fast track on field success. If history is anything to go by, they will be back in the 8 in 2021 at the latest. Adelaide is a strong club that has had a bad run.

Clubs that have had reviews:

West Coast after Cousins era - went on to make PF in 2011, GF in 2015, Flag in 2018
Collingwood in 2017 - Grand Final in 2018, PF in 2019
Geelong in 2006 - Flags in 2007,2009,2011
None of those reviews had multiple players jump. A captain step down and a coach sacked or jump as the club says. It also included the fact that the culture of the club. None of the reviews mentioned was centered about ejecting personel. In fact it was adjustment of what was there rather than wholesale gutting which has happened including the head coach. None of those crisis all were attributed to making the day and falling so far. Contrary it was these clubs are underperforming for some reason.

I understand what you are getting at but i don't think it aligns to clubs who proactively invoked reviews to improve. In this case it's more like a air crash investigation they are conducting.
