Even if we get thumped this game has no significants to what happens for the rest of the year.. Too many injuries will be a different side that runs out for the finals.....

If we win then it is significant because of who we have out and in.......that's that!

Blown away by the amount of people who think we're going to comfortably account for probably the most inform club in the competition. We haven't really smashed any sides of value out of the park, and Adelaide have done that both to Geelong and Carlton. Just don't see where this confidence is coming from.

Can't see I've seen too may saying we'll "comfortably account" for the Crows, just a few that are confident we can get up or at least push them.

The confidence might be coming from the fact that we are still a good side when going and that we've won our past 7 games at AAMI Park and 6 of our last 7 against the Crows.

For us to win we need Thomas, Dawes, Beams and Sidebottom, especially the last two to cover for Swanny.

The difference between the Crows spanking Geelong and Carlton, is that we are in form and they weren't. We have won the past 5 whilst Carlton and Geelong have been all over the shop. Form should help us seal the deal here. We have good depth and can cover Swan and Reids loss. Pies by 20.

I'm sorry, run it by me how we're in form. We beat a Geelong side who were sadly out of form and both sides played garbage footy. We haven't yet put together a 4 quarter effort as far as I can tell and we have guys like Dawes, Thomas, O'Brien, Cloke and a few others who are miles off their best. No, sorry, but there is no way you could call us in form based on performances to date. With a bit of luck some of those guys might run into some form for this game but on exposed form we will be pushing it up hill.

You don't win five games on the trot based purely on luck. Form has a major part in winning. 5 wins is form in my mind. It may not be the pinnacle form that we are after, but its form nevertheless. Also, when you continually win, you build up the form from a previous game. So going by this, our form should increase a little more this week which should = a win!
