I've been to both Adelaide and QLD (Gold coast and Noosa) and imo QLD's humidity and heat is worse.

Anyone ever been to Singapore? We were there for a day on a stop-off on the way back to Europe. Unfortunatly they had lost my baggage at the time so all I had then was a pair jeans and a jumper. (coming from -5C to 30+C, in a matter of hours) I suffocated. The humidity up there is so bad you could almost chew the air it was that thick. It was almost as bad as Bankok airport. :(

Adelaide is a lovely small city, unfortunately our state keeps on running into one financial disaster after another. Other states are better able to cope with this kind of problem, due to population and industry infrastructure.

Adelaide is a great place to bring up your kids, (avoid the serial killers / rapists, mass murderers, child molesters and child kidnappers) once your kids are ready for work, recommend the eastern seaboard to them.

We have extreme dry heat, which I much prefer to the tropical humid heat, we are the driest state on the driest continent in the world. That means drought is a regular feature, and the Murray aint the most fantastic supply of water around. Adds up to future hassles.

I do believe we have good drivers here, apart from the occasional loony, which state doesn't have them? Adelaide has probably the best town planning set-up anywhere, coz it was all planned before we were here

The beaches and the babes rival anywhere in the world
