I now understand that the flag can leave Victoria and not just to go to Perth.

Not to mention you pinched one from us.

But with an ageing list and a dearth of young talent, how long before the Crows reach the giddy heights of yesteryear again????

The crows have their youngest list ever, and the average age is 22-23

Well actually they may have a young list, but is hardly a list full of exciting, early draft picks and there will be a dearth of leadership within the club as its premiership players continue to fall by the wayside.

With regard to exciting young talent, I have watched a number of Adelaide games and not a hell of a lt has caught the eye.

Having a young list does not guarantee success - refer to Collingwood Fremantle Port and the like.

The culture of success I believe is on the wane and I doubt Ayres has the genius Blight applied to the club in his two premiership years.

In fact Ayres record with young talent at Geelong was awful - the Cats dont have a hell of a lot of youngsters from his era that are rated as great players now, and the ones that did come on last year did so under Thompson - Bizell, Houlihan and the like of draftees like Corey, Spriggs et al.

I dont see the same excitement in Adelaide's list and hence I cannot see it improving in the near future.

Funny he shouldnt care about his home state, maybe the moustache is from 'parts unknown' like the Undertaker,Missing Link etc.......
