I'm really in two minds about this whole thing.

I'm a AAMI + gold mmeber and a AO member.

I was considering going to the SMA member but It just feels like a waste of money and to me defeats the purpose of the move in the first place.

If the Crows can come up with a membership for SMA members, I might re-consider but I think at this point I'm going to be a Crows member and a Cricket member, meaning I won't get the away showdown but I'm not that fussed about that anyway.

I'll have to start working by network to get corporate tickets :D

Does only one person from each "group" have to fill out the form?

So all this stuff is from the club right?
Yeah still it is missing the reserved seating in the west.

Stadium Members for what they are paying seen to have the worse deal...

Guessing as a season car park member we will have a parklands season pass.

If your buying tickets on the day you'd have to go to the hill. Bs for members though shuffled to just off the goals makes me question who is looking after who is this situation

Damn. We're currently in the open northern stand - been there for years. And I've just realised we're likely to wind up oxygen deprived, face into the sun in the top tier of the eastern stand. We want to stay behind the goal posts. Do we just nominate the southern stand ? Or are we stuck climbing to the top of the eastern stand?

Why aren't northern stand people simply swapped to the southern stand - or isn't the southern stand covered?

i guess thats what happens when you try to fit 360degrees of seating into 270.

i have no idea why they didnt just cut the damn fig trees down and build a proper stadium. looking at some of the design photos etc it looks like a stadium with grandstands that have all been built individually. different roof designs, different heights, it really looks strange. i also dont understand why they have gaps in the corners instead filling those in with seats.

my tickets are Standard Terrace, so i'm weighing up whether or not to request a seat in the Northern or Southern area. i like the idea of the northern closer to the GA and the hill, but then i'm worried about the weather and wind blowing through without any cover. at least in the southern stand i think there'll be some protection.

having said all that, it'll still be much better than going to footy park.

I'm guessing it will happen eventually and we'll have a fully closed in stadium. Honestly though I am so sick of the big deal over those trees, seems ridiculous to be making such big compromises on Adelaide Oval for the sake of a few trees that will be lucky to have another 20 years of life left in them.

I'm really not that unhappy or worried.
But that may be because my 'similar seat' would send me to front of Eastern Grandstand............And I have a friend in membership at the club so I might get better than I already have ;)

The home CS will be down the south end.
Thanks mate - had confirmed through another source as well.

Anyone looking to upgrade their current seats to start AO in a better position. Currently considering it.. be curious to hear of any options people are considering.

Yep, since it looks like we will have to move from the Western side of AAMI to the Eastern side of Adelaide Oval, we are considering moving to the premium terrace seating between bays 124 and 137.

Well there goes my plan to look at bay 127.. ;)

If you are in the Members now at AAMI then you will be in Members at Adelaide which is the Western Side.

Can anyone confirm or shed information on where CSG and Opposition supporter groups will be seated? Presumably CSG - South, Opposition - North?
I'm hoping they'll stay at AAMI.

I'm just kidding. They do a great job.

My like is solely for the 1st part.

There's numerous things I'd like to see them improve before I say great job though.
1) Get chants going that people at the other end of the ground can hear. I heard them 2-3 times all last year.........At the end of a break when a microphone was under their mouths.
2) Get some witty banners going, the generic shit in recent times is making it crap (though, the AFL might be the ones to blame on that front.)
3) Get someone fast to run with the flag at entry. The guy doing it is old and slow. It's good that he's doing it, but it's something we copied from America, but in America they get guys in their 20s to do it as they're fit and fast. Makes it move better and looks great!!!!

1st game next year Port v Adelaide at Adelaide oval.
AFL are not sure who's home game this will be.
A Dem on SEN has just spoke about it.

on SEN Robbo asked Demetriou in a negative tone about the first game of next year being in Adelaide again and he answered along the lines of "No, what we have said is the first game IN Adelaide next year will be a showdown, weather thats the first game of the season I dont know, we haven't looked at the configuration of that round yet."

So-called comparable seats for me are a joke. How does sitting well under cover on the western side of AAMI between the northern 50m arc and centre, equate to a seat in the Southern stand, not guaranteed to be rain protected? AO is a monstrous **** up.
So get there early to make sure you get your spot in the Western Stand. The 2nd tier of the Southern stand is for overflow. You get there early then there wont be a problem. Or reserve your seat in the Western Stand.
