Adelaide Test starts on Tuesday... WTF?!

So what? You can still get wickets on this pitch, India proved it early and then went to pieces like normal and the Aussies bowled great lines and lengths to get 10 wickets. It is a hard working pitch, making the batsmen and bowlers earn their keep, not one or the other.
The fact all players who come here, batter and bowler, love the pitch and atmosphere is good enough for me. Just ignore the BF bogans who have probably never even been to Adelaide and seen the oval or pitch live.

Another 35k today, ****ing awesome effort Adelaide!:thumbsu:

Yeah you are right...I'm just saying what the knockers will say.

About 3k there today :thumbsu:

I can't believe the summer of tests in Australia finishes tomorrow. Seriously should have been scheduled so the fifth day was a Sunday, but I guess that couldn't have happened, what with Adelaide being the city of churches and all. ;)

I've been all four days.

I don't think those who go and hang out the back just drinking and watching no cricket should count towards the attendance. Every day there is a good 8k out the back not interested in what they're actually there for, a cricket match.

Staggers me that these people fork out $300 a year just to drink beer for 5 days.

Thought it was 17k?

Anyways, probably worked out well - started at 8am yesterday, finished at 5am today, spent almost a grand...

My body and wallet couldn't hack 4 days of that.
You're right. I'm going again tomorrow, my first ever 5 days (2nd year of being a member and I spent 3 of last years 5 in Brisbane - epic timing fail on my part).

How the hell did you almost spent a grand.. and why was I not invited. I spent 30 bucks yesterday and drank a boatload of Pimms and Beer. It just kept appearing. I got out of a round by going out the back to start cooking the BBQ 15mins early! (Round of 4, 30 dollars saved). In the end I think for the weekend with food and bbq and stuff, I spent around 70 for 4 days. Don't tell my mates, they probably spent a lot on me and don't realise it, but they are employed and I am not!

I was there from about 9:30ish to make sure I got a park. Good end to a good week. Now I can get back to resting :D

Did the same saw they were charging at the southern car park then drove past the northern one an it was free so went in there would be pissed if I was someone that paid the 15 bucks at the southern one

I didn't know it was free and open, but just parked at the top of the hill in the Pennington Terrace Triangle.
