Gee, some people show no mercy. Ponting’s probably had his worst series in about 5 odd years and because he values his wicket he gets bagged? Sharma bowled beautifully today and has troubled him in this series, and he managed to see off 9 overs from Harbhajan, that’s a great effort considering his struggles against him. Why should be throw his wicket away just to improve the run rate? He's playing a great knock showing terrific concentration and determination, and he’s striking at 52.66, hardly awful.

Yeah, some people just dont understand cricket. Why should we do anything stupid?

The Indians have to beat us to level the series afterall.

Hmm yes, if they were the chicks with the (one) green and (one) yellow tank top thingys on that I saw you heading to the bar (?) with, then yes, I would also be shattered....;)

iw as there on Saturday, and witnesses a great innings by Punter. A real back against the wall innings. The man is out of form, the first time in five years and worked his ass off to get taht ton. Unfortunatley could not be there to see him lift the bat on Sunday.

India have better bolwers than us at the moment, and there defensive bowling, field placing did not help for the entertainment factor, but for me was still a great day of cricket. Punter;s innings was worth it. Two bloke I was in didnt appreciate it at all.

Anyone see the guy dressed in the Rabbit costume I was right near him. Bloody hot in the sun, and I felt sorry for him. But he did get to sit with Allan Border for a session. For being a devoted supporter.

Haha yeah, he would have been stinking hot in that thing. Did you see the guy in the gorilla outfit later in the day? :D :thumbsu:

Took the missus for her first cricket experience and she just loved it.

So that's footy, motor racing (well F1 for now, she doesn't seem to be interested in V8's) and now cricket.

Two great days. Have to say sitting high up in the Chappell stands is better than sitting in the bloody sun all day. Great innovation.

Haha me too!
Sat in the Chappell stands too. Mine needed a couple of mags to get her through the day though.

We went from the tea break onwards (cheapskates!).

Gotta say that I was VERY disappointed that the team didn't do a "lap of honour" after the game especially given that it was the last test of the series. Could have at least gotten Gilly to do one. The kids and I hung around waiting for it and it just didn't happen.......

Also extremely annoyed that India didn't declare late in the day so Gilly could get another bat. They were NO chance to lose the game so what harm would it have done??

That wasn't you wearing a Warnie ODI shirt and a white cricket sun hat was it?

This dude had a partner that seamed more interested in texting or reading those goss rags. ;)

Haha yeah that was probably me and my girlfriend! Adelaide is so small!

Got the tickets for $30 each so no big deal!

I did the same a couple of years ago, she hates cricket, it was probably the most boring one day game ever, 44 degrees, packed in like sardines and to top things off some drunk thug decided to use my face as a punching bag.

She has not returned to the cricket haha
