I noticed that a few of you guys out there wanted some more information about Brad Lang. Well I'm a big fan of the Glenorchy Magpies (Storm) where Langy is from. I've seen at least 10 of Brad's games form last year and about 15 of his games this year. He play's ruckman for us, but floats down towards CHF/FP. I was a bit surprised that he said that he needs to improve his marking as I would rate him the best marker in our team and if not in the top 10 of the whole comp. When he play's ruck he's a good tap ruckman and if given the chance with Matthew Clarke could become a great one. For a bloke his size, I've NEVER EVER seen someone one swoop down and pick the ball up like he does.
But for is cons, I would have to say if he was going to play aAFL he would have to drastically improve his fitness, I wouldn't think he could run out anymore than 1 half of a game. I've also been told that he likes the "Grog" to much, but hey who doesn't!!!!!!
Brad is a good player though I'm not just that sure good enough for AFL, I mean the comp that he play's would just be a slight higher than amauter footy!!!
But I wish Brad all the luck, and would love to have him playing for Adelaide, just as much as I love having an ex-Crow coaching my local team as in, John Klug. Still has the best hands, whould nearly be able to handpass further that what most guy's could kick at Glenorchy!!!
