Be SCARED be VERY SCARED!! Reilly did have a shocker but thats just ONE shocker. I think it would be a bit rough to put him back in the sanfl right now. If he has another quite, then i think it will be time to drop him.

God, i hope they dont, cos id have no one to look at when the footy gets boring (that doesnt happen very often with the crows though)

Im not giving any votes for rookie this week. But I think we should give Reilly a break, he played ONE bad game and everyone wants him dropped. I dont think thats being fair on him. Like Marks Girl (or whatever your name is , sorry) said, we arent losing anything by playing him. We arent really at risk and i think we should give him another go before totally turning our backs on him by dropping him.

With me its not a factor of Reilly playing badly, its a matter of who is phycsically more capable of handling the pressure of the showdown. He is a great youngster that will be a gun and a great player in years to come but its time to go to war. IMHO Showdowns are most physical games we play all year even more physical than against Brisbane. Massie would add a bit more experience and a bit more hardness at the man and the ball. That is the only reason I am thinking of dropping Reilly. Burns is not safe either but experience factor might work in his favour.

I actually agree with that about Reilly, as much as i like the guy, he doesnt have that heavy physical presence, and well i dont think he would have the motivation to win a "showdown" being a vic kid. Massie would be a great inclusion, but I'm secretly hoping that Michael Doughty gets a spot in this weeks side ;)
One thing the crows must do is, DROP BEN MARSH! Absolute Shocker!!!

Eeerrr Massie is a vic:confused:

5- M Ricciuto - one of his best games for ages. Was so hard at the ball and took a mark inside 50 which no-one else seemed to be able to do.

4 - A McLeod - how good can this guy get? Will be close to the best AFL player ever when he finishes his career.

3- M Bode - continues to do the hard work. 9 tackles were fantastic. Keep him on the ground.

3- Stenglein - great job on Cousins. Will do the same to STevens this week which will set us a long way to beating the Filth.

1 - Bickley - goes unoticed in the midfield yet continues to win the hard balls and do the one percenters.

Unlucky - Hart Smart Johncok and Bassett - thought the defence was awesome.

Team Man

3 Matty Bode
2 Tyson Stenglein
1 Mark Bickley

Rookie - No vote. Reilly needs a rest. Massie to come in.

BOG

5. McLeod - Played a blinder, could have kicked 6!!
4. Ricciuto - Played a blinder, could have kicked 6 too!!
3. Stenglein - Kept Cousins under control and importantly he was not damaging when he did get it.
2. Bode - Seems to be filling the Johnson hole nicely.
1. McGregor - Good consistent performance against quality opposition.

TTM
3. Stenglein
2. Stevens
1. Johnc0(k - Awesome run and tackle!!

Rookie
Abstain

Reilly - Didn't play a bad game IMHO, but was quiet. Not sure I'd drop him yet though.

Marsh - Tried hard but is not AFL standard. Back to the twos!

Burns - Did some good things but does not seem to have time and space when he gets the ball. Should be playing at Carey's feet or not at all.

Besides Mark stevens is a vic and he always plays his heart out in the showdowns.;)
yes she was, but she was saying that Reilly wont have commitment cos hes a vic, she wasnt talking about massie in that context.

I understand that but she was refering how Massie would be a good replacemnt for Reilly. Thats a vic for a vic. Thats what I was refering to. The point that I tried to make is you cannot pick a side on whether they are vics or not. You pick the best players available and bust their guts out on the field.;)

Oh ok!! Matter cleared up then!

I fully agree with you about the Vic thing, we have many vics and interstate players in our team that give their absolute all in showdowns.

Plus its port and if anyone of our crows our humans they would REALLY want to beat them on saturday night!!!
