Jealous little brother act
I dunno wtf you are going on about now.

Best you just take a chill pill and relax. I'm not jealous of the Crows mate, not in a million years.

You've just proved my point. You don't like anyone criticising the Crows.

Port deserved it. No issues from me.

Sorry, I don't have the time to list all the crows media ambassadors in South Australia for *television
*print media
*radio

Shall we agree on 3 - 4 in each category. ?

Here

I guess the issue is you feel nothing changed. Everything changed. New CEO, new coach, new assistants, new recruitment bosses, poached NeiL Balme from Collingwood. I dont think anything more could have changed really......
We're not the same people.

Also, the attempted board spill from a group of disgruntled fans came at the end of 2016. The only difference was getting Balme. Gale, Hardwick were there, the assistant coach changes were started in August (board spill attempt in September at the same time Caracella and Balme were appointed).

It's not that 'nothing changed', it's that nothing changed as a result of the fan agitation/board spill attempt.

Now, we have already appointed a new GM of football and sacked some assistant coaches. Board chair and his right hand man leaving this year. So change has happened. If no improvement starts next year, then the CEO will definitely be in the gun.

I could find you shitloads of posts from me criticising the club. That's not my issue.

The latest pissing match started when the Pear fans started wondering why their own club was being shat on by their biggest rivals after they tried to swarm a thread...

Would you agree that everything has to change? I kind of feel everything changed at Richmond. You dont find many who were around during the Jordan McMahon Era still there and I kind of feel like this is your version of that. I dont really think sacking people because they are not in the boys club is the way to go

Hell even Andrew McLeod can see the failure in this method, why cant the fans?

So we sacked the coach, the head of football, the senior assistant coach, the chairman (TBC) the deputy chair (TBC), traded out a bunch of players. I don't think sacking everyone in 1 year (especially a year like this, though that couldn't be foreseen) would have been ideal.

To me, Fagan gets the next set of appointments and a demonstration of serious investment in the footy department (end of this year) - aka well regarded assistant coaches and a new head of conditioning that has actual demonstrated value (not 'Brisbane/Burton discard'). If things aren't on the up next year, him and Ogilvie can go.

Nothing to do with it.

The Port fans being the only ones criticising is because others just don't care.

Do you wanna continue on like that? Port fans have to listen to Crows content all day long, they can see the problem.... Hint Fagan, Roo, Chapman.

It is in reverse though?

The plebs who made the fundamental errors are the people hiring the new bunch of yes men. Its the political version of sacking a few members of cabinet but keeping the same prime minister.

I do actually hope it works out for you believe it or not, I just think it wont

Hint: we already know that.

Compare what Port did

You start from the top. They all HAD to go.

We needed KT, KH and Kochie to turn the corner. Not just sacking Primus. Everyone who made the decisions had to go.

Well this thread has just turned into yet another Crows vs Port shitfight, what are the chances?!

Fair enough.

Can all posters, including Crow posters, stay on point regarding the decline of the Adelaide football Club. No deflections from topic. The topic is Adelaide.

Ready ..... set ......go

This.

I highly doubt that the camp was solely Burton.

Who's KH? I thought Koch Head but presumed you wouldn't be calling him that.

You're missing that the Kochie move is already on (as in Chapman is supposed to be out this year). The external review revealing all these issues and him not stepping down immediately is atrocious, but understandable in one sense that there isn't a Koch to come in.

If he's not gone in 3 months, then we burn the place to the ground.

Who's KH?
Seriously... The Coach.

The point is you did half a review. Everyone had to go. It was sanctioned by the worst of the lot.

So now you are with a new Coach and half a review. Talk about setting up for failure.. Just like Primus. It just prolonged the mess and actually set it back more.

If it was Burton and the two senior coaches, they've all been sacked.

I don't think Fagan has that level of control of footy decisions. If he does, then appointing a new CEO won't help if that's the way the club is run.
If you run the joint and don't have responsibility then something is wrong.

LOL. :dumb:

Though given he's got 10000 'Sack Hinkley' posts in your board was he the essential piece?
Are you all there?

We removed EVERYONE.

He was new. We didn't just go half arsed.

Now the real problem is for you that you'll finish last, possibly not win a game and you'll bring in a pick 1 and others to the same situation. The same recruiting staff, the same hierarchy.... What has that achieved? What's the likelihood that kid stays if the club carry on like it is?

0-11 is so depressing but i still have faith in Nicks that he can reinstall respect at the club. Feel sorry for the guy, was handed a mess of a list by Pyke and co and the reality is we have a massive talent gap. The youth we have are struggling and the ones that are performing arent enough to make a huge difference right now.

I think with smart drafting over a 2-3 year period things can turn around very quickly. Key word smart, something i am not confident our list management and recruiting staff are. Time will tell

Yeah the crows are 0-11 but in reality they should of won 2-4 games already. My team went 0-10 in 2016 and it psychology damages the playing staff.

It makes a huge difference if you win a game in the 1st 10 games. Even if you are 1-9, at least there is some form of belief there.

I disagree that Don Pyke left the list in a mess. It would be like saying when Ross Lyon was sacked last year, he left Freo with a poor list, which I disagree. Justin Longmuir is coaching in a semi decent way at Freo. I thought it was harsh sacking Pyke last season too.

Pykes coaching would of got your team 2-4 wins this year.

If I was a crows fan, I would hope the crows get at least 1 or 2 wins by the time the season ends.

Don't get me wrong. I envy the crows finals success. This is not including the 3 Grand finals they made in 1997-8 and 2017. Cornes, Blight, Ayres, Craig, Sanderson and Pyke. Thats 6 different coaches in a 20-25 year period that at least got a preliminary final with the crows.
