Himmelberg has been great for us the last 2 weeks, finally starting to deliver on his potential. Hitting packs hard and finally starting to clunk more, had cement hands there for a while and couldn’t hold onto anything. Also hitting the scoreboard on a more regular basis now and has surprisingly clean skills when the ball hits the ground for a bloke.
He is a significantly better option for us long term than Frampton, who tbh is a short term option while we are in a rebuild.
Have you given up watching the Collingwood game? Not sure why you’re in here commenting on the state of the Crows as your club suffers another bad loss during an apparent contending year.
Last year on his contract next season unless he triggers a 3rd, which looks unlikely. If we draft Thilthorpe also the need for Frampton disappears entirely.

Eh, I would have thought that Frampton would have been given more of a go than he's gotten, and Himmelberg IMO hasn't looked that great.

Himmelberg shows a lot more potential than any of the young KPFs at Collingwood.
Also why do we have to put ceilings on any young player's talent or upside ?
Not just you specifically Damon, but that term ceiling shits me overall..
Himmelberg was frustrating as a player until the last 3 games, where he has finally started to deliver in his 4th season. Obviously doesn’t mean a lot given our scoring isn’t great, but he’s been our best tall forward in our two recent games and finally gives us a contested marking option from a long kick forward.
There was an article on AFL website (which i cant find) naming some SA players the Crows should target.
E.g. Jack Graham. Izak Rankine. Brennan Cox. etc.
No mention of Charlie Ballard but hed be top of my list.

Adelaide's fitness is the worst I have seen since ours circa 2011 under the great Cam Falloon. How long is the person in charge of this areas contract? This is one of the most important areas, and when fixed a team can easily win a few more games.

Well yeah he'd be ideal.
But atleast a Key Defender is probably amongst the easier things to find.
Not a good team ur right. 5 good players and thats about it.
