Nope, teams who finish 2nd actually go to the Grand Final.
You mentioned nothing about finals in that post. We were a top 2 side after 22 rounds. Your prediction was incorrect, just as this one will be.
You're a hack, F-U.
Isn't this the part where you abandon this thread and start a new one to divert attention?

"I would have taken the bet if Thommo hadn't gone down"

"OK, make it the bottom 2 lowest scoring teams"

"I'm not a gambling man"

lol, nah you haven't changed your tune at all! Don't suppose reminding you that there is no cash on the line, just your bigfooty login, would do any good?

No, didnt think so. Softest of the S O F T

(Your reference to guarantees in the third person also worries me :p)

Im not a gambling man. If Thompson didnt go down then Adelaide having the lowest scoring team was a dead set certainty rather then a gamble. Top 2 yes but if Fevola got injured then Carlton would be a certainty for top 2 lowest scorers too.

Quite simply if I knew each team would go out with there best 22 each week id take that bet cos I know its a certain thing. Otherwise ill leave the gambling to the Adelaide Crows players

Thought it was more then clear that I meant finals football too. The home and away season means nothing. The finals is when the real business starts and when the pretenders (adelaide) are seperated from the champions (eagles)

Your post implied that our team did not have the depth to win enough games to finish top 2. It did.
Even if we included finals, even though you made no mention of them in your post, and made a ladder from wins and losses - adelaide would have still been a top 2 side last season. We won more games - including finals - than every side but West Coast last season.

Coulda woulda shoulda but didnt mate. Adelaide were not a top 2 team last season as I said. If you think you were the 2nd best team all year I suggest you take that up with Sydney supporters

If your thread had been about Adelaide losing important finals matches, then I would not have said it was an incorrect prediction. As it was, you predicted we did not have the depth to win enough games to be a top 2 side. We won more games than any other team bar 1 last season, despite our injuries.
You're clutching at straws here F-U.

A top 2 team gets to the Grand Final. Can I make it any simpler for you to understand

A F-U guarantee is worth alot in this world. You should have figured that one out by now. I was the one who predicted Riccito would go missing during the finals 6 months before it happened. No one could of predicted a excuse that pathetic though
Oh you're so cool. You really are my hero F-U! After predicting that, can you please tell me this weeks Powerball numbers....oh mighty one

You can not have 'a' before a word that begins with a vowel.

Okay, well then how about we change the bet to bottom 2 scoring sides.
If the crows are amongst the bottom two scoring sides in the competition at the conclusion of this season, then I'll be banned, if not, you will.
OMG, I'm almost hoping for Adelaide to do well.

You specifically mentioned 3 players, Welsh, Perrie and Bock, and predicted that due to their absences the Crows would not be a top 2 side. All 3 had returned to the side before finals. We were top 2 by ANY definition when they returned.

Eagles are pretty well known for not having the best forward lines ever (mainly because of blind and idiotic Victorians) but one teams forward line that doesnt cop the criticism it deserves is Adelaides.

Quite simply its the worst forward line the games ever seen. Apparantly this is there forward line

FF: Bode Welsh Burton

HF: Perrie Bock Edwards

Lets have a look.

Bode - Small slow and cant kick to save himself. Sums up most of the Crows youngsters too. Ordinary

Welsh - Umm yeh. The poor mans Kent Kingsley. Cant kick nor do anything of any help to the team. Not even good enough for SANFL

Burton - I think the mans lost. The midfield is up more. Midfielder who can do the flashy thing one game per year but no chasing tackling or hard work required of a forward. A decent player yes. A forward no

Perrie - AHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Bock - Last years CHB expected to be there no 1 goal scorer and CHF. Reeks of desperation. Isnt a forward

Edwards - Midfielder who the game has passed by. Should be his last year in the game. Lets hope he leaves with some class unlike Ricciuto and co

Wow. After doing that write up I realised I underestimated just how bad it is. Crows will struggle to kick more then 7-8 goals all year. I think its time for Adelaide fans to get well acquinted with next years draft. There gonna need to know what to use there top 5 pick on
You can only know it is the "Worst forward line ever in AFL/VFL history" if you have complete knowledge of all forward lines in AFL/VFL history.

I am sure there are plenty more worse forward lines. For instance, please give a rundown (man by man) of the St Kilda foward line of 1947 and explain how that is better than the current Crows setup?

(Not picking on St Kilda, just using a random example to allow F-U to back up his statement).

Spot on F-U, it is undoubtedly the worst forward line ever.
Oh look, the strange little boy with a Crow obsession makes an appearance. You are desperate to impress F-U aren't you young lad?

As Glenno implied, the 'worst forward line ever' is still good enough to score more than your mob every time we play.

Hi bandwagoner :)

Worst forward line ever yet the second highest scoring team last year? How'd you come to that conclusion? This should be interesting considering Swannies_Rule only started following footy in 2005. :)

Due to your ultra flooding defensive tactics the ball spent all the time in your forward line which is the reason for that stat.
How does a flooding tactic in one game affect anybody outside of that game??? Also, if their flooding was so intent, then of course they wouldnt have ended up with the top percentage of 142%, with almost 2400 points scored, second only to the Pies, with the second least points scored against with 1600. They were effing good on both sides of the spectrum.
