The Draftguru has compiled every club's senior list - and the demographics are very interesting.

Adelaide has the 9th oldest list in the competition, but the 16th most experienced. That's right - only Brisbane & Carlton have less experience than Adelaide.

The situation is even more serious, when you consider that Thompson (300+ games) is unlikely to be a significant factor in 2017.

It's also interesting that only 6 of 18 clubs have opted for full (40 player) senior lists. Sydney, Freo, GWS and Port will only have 38 players on their list next year.

Where do GWS and Bulldogs sit ?? With the current line of thinking, they seem to be the most likely to challenge for top 4 and premierships in the years coming. Good players with ~50 games experience can really start to impact games. Most supporters on this board want some of the most experienced players on our list to see their days out in the SANFL, in Thommo, Douglas and Mackay.

Well the average game difference between 16th and 10th is only 5 games, and 16th to 5th is only 10 games. Brisbane's list is significantly less experienced, and the top 4 are significantly more experienced.
