ADHD ADD Meds

Anyone take ADHD or ADD medication...? For ADHD/ADD or even depression. Or Adderall just for performance etc

Dexamphetamine, Adderall, Concerta, Ritalin, Vvyanse etc

Dosages?
Is it effective?
Has it helped you?

How are the side effects?

Do you believe it is worth it etc ??

Has it messed up your brains ability to produce dopamine naturally etc? or all good?

Specialists are diagnosing more and more adults with ADD etc and also beginning to use these meds for depression.

Anyone have any real life experience?

My twelve year old was diagnosed with it and we started giving him the meds.
I dont know if i'd recommend it to anyone, different things for different people. It just made him a tiny psychopath. One of my old buddies told me it's basically government grade meth. I could see that instantly when he went around punching holes in the walls. Found it odd cos he's only got little bread stick arms.
After 6 months of fluctuating behaviour and $1750 of drywall work done we had to call it quits.

I take Ritalin once a morning every day for Work and can def tell it makes a difference for me.

Just keeps me more focused on what im doing ive shared it with a few places ive worked and some i havent told, the ones i did tell it wasnt an issue at all but i feel like once you tell them it becomes pretty obvious to them when you lose focus and they question you.

Im 26 and have been taking it since i was about 11.
