SweetFA.com's media outlets have all been shocked by the ruour of Andonis1997's retirement from qooty.
In a private club meeting, sussed out by our sleuthy, stealthy reporters, the now 19-year old superstar admitted that he has been lacking what it takes to be a Sweet FA gun, which is enthusiasm and time, generally.

"Hey guys,
So, as you all know, I've been lurking around this season. Barely posting, barely following, really. So, I think there's no better time to announce it than right now as we are in a strong position posters-wise and will be better than ever next season.
I'm retiring from the Sweet FA.
These last 8 seasons have been great, but all good things must come to an end.
Thank you to Ljp86 for giving me the chance back in Season 15 and taking a chance on me. Thank you to my other captains over this time, The Filth Wizard Hate and cammo6556 (hope I haven't forgotten anyone.. boncer?) for being great to me.
Thank you."
Players and supporters alike were dumbfounded, but could clearly tell something was not right.
Reactions from passionate fans were at the opposite sides of the spectrum:
"I felt like it was the right time to go, Hugh. There are some great signings who have come back to the SFA and the Dragons, such as vanders and Jatz and I didn't want to stop anyone else from having a spot, especially new keen recruits.
I've enjoyed all of these 179 matches, and I thank the Dragons for all they've done."
Andonis1997 did say however he isn't leaving the Sweet FA entirely.
"I still sponsor and manufacture the Dragons' kits, as well as being the main design guru, so unless I'm told to get lost, I'm pretty happy to keep going with that. But I have no interest going to another club."

We got in contact with the premiership player and one time all-SFA player in his break-out season, who was surprisingly more calm and collected with the media than usual.
