Raster graphics are comprised of pixels. They'll look distorted and weird once you try to alter the size of the image.thanks whats the difference between a raster and vector logo?
Vector graphics, however, are comprised of anchors and paths. Because they don't rely on pixels, they can be endlessly re-sized for no loss of image quality. Here, this may explain it:
