I love shitcanning him but you can’t say he doesn’t go into bat for the Bombers hard, even if it is detrimental to the overall outcome.

That’s what I loved about SOS, if it wasn’t a good deal (in his eyes) he’d dig his heels in.

Is there any evidence that the Dodoro/SOS strategy actually works? Melbourne supporters have loved the Josh Mahoney/Tim Lamb strategy of getting deals done early, then seeing if other deals can be done. And they often got canned on Bigfooty for paying overs. The proof is in the pudding. The list build has worked, whist the Bombers and Blues have been floundering.

If Dodoro didn't fap around with the Dunkley deal, he could have got Treloar for a steal.

Marty Gleeson was emerging as a very good defender until he broke his ankle in the pre season of 2019. He simply never recovered from that chronic injury with complications robbing him of 2 years of footy in his prime. It’s an unfortunate example of what could have been. He deserved better, a very popular guy.

Who knows where the Dons would have peaked if not for the penalties from the peptides saga. The list never got the chance to peak around Jobe.

Blues have been terrible. But that was already the case pre-SOS.
