I see how it can be annoying but I think its funny because its so stupid and over the top lol...

One I saw today for the first time and I already hate it is for a yogurt, can't remember the name of it with some blonde bimbo (actually looks like someone well known but can't think who) and she was just dancing around behind some mirrors with a stupid smile on her face :rolleyes:

Sorry for the vague description lol, maybe someone knows the one. It was on during the Sunday Footy Show.

I didn't mind it the first few times I saw it - and it did its job because I got curious enough to notice what it was advertising.

But it's getting ridiculously played out and now I just groan when it comes on again for the 5th time that hour.

It's Sarah Murdoch and yeah, I saw that watching the footy show too. Spent the whole time thinking 'WTF have I just witnessed??' Just the once and I never want to see it again.

Ads in australia have hit an all time low - but hey they are the demographics. It paints a depressing picture of the kind of consumers aussies are.

I want to punch that aggressive stay at home mother who watches the circle thinking the world revolves around her and the fruits of her loin while she has a go at her dumb arse boofey bloke of a hubby who see's no reason to get life insurance.

Hubby dies? Get a job.

Yeah the Virgin ad with the ranga.

This ad is disturbing. How they thought having people all lined up like they are in a conveyor belt all doing the same thing, looking the same and all robotic acting is promoting a cashless lifestyle is beyond me. And then portraying someone for daring to be different being looked down is horrible. Argh it's horrid.

Australia deserves the ads it gets.

Don't know if it has been mentioned and i havent seen it over a week BUT

The car ad that uses "The Message" as a jingle.

WTF

Did the ad agency even research to find out what the song is all about and how pathetic it is to use in an ad about a middle class white suburban guy who seems to be bitchslapped by his wife and needs to go to shops to get nappies? And then they have 3 sterotype crunk rappers miming to song.

WTF???

The message is a song about the social issues facing black people in New York during the late 70s and early 80s when the city was broke and there were crime ghettos everywhere.

A case of the chorus having the hook and people not listening enough to lyrics. I feel the same when its played in a club. Sure its got nice breaks..but arrrrghhhh!

It's fairly old now, by ad standards. I was surprised when I saw it again last week.

One of the new Foxtel ads really annoys me. Hodge wins a centre clearance, runs to 50 and drills a goal. Only issue is, the centre clearance he kicks to the left of screen, but the goal goes through right of screen.
Why not show the goal go through from the same angle? Or pick a different goal?

Edit: It's actually a Powerade ad. It's just so weird watching it... Hodge kicks the ball from 50 going to the left of screen, cut to another shot where ball bounces through going right of the screen. :confused:
