Advice needed.

I have got 155,000 in the bank, with 1 trade remanining this round.

My backs i dont have a playing emergency (edwards,Hansen) and i have proud in my starting 22 with nikoski and hurn.

I have travis tuck starting in my mid but also have bird and palmer on the bench to cover.

My forward line i have barry hall. My bech is jetta and tippett.

I Obvouisly need to use my trade but who do i trade out and who to trade in?

Tough one. Maybe Tuck to Wonaeamirri. Start Palmer, Tippett and one of Proud/Hansen/Edwards (hopefully one of them gets a game this week). Use the boatload of cash you'll have left after the Tuck trade (~300k) and trade Hall and either Nicoski or Hurn next week to guns. Should be able to get a cheap gun forward with most of them about to depreciate in price again.

Are you going for a league win or overall ranking?

If you can take a 0 playing this week I'd do Tuck to Woenamerri or Selwood.

You would hope Nicoski will get a game but Proud is 50/50.

Your other option is to downgrade Nicoski to Woenamerri in the backline. You can then use the cash to do a big upgrade next week.

Wait for the teams to come out if you can obviously.

If Proud plays downgrade Tuck. If Proud doesn't play you could downgrade Proud to Woenamerri. Hmmm thats kinda crap though because Proud should get more games and should go up in value.

I'd probably wear the zero and downgrade Tuck to Woenamerri.

Probably Burton. You would think Medhurt would be more of a chance of picking up bigger scores more consistantly than Burton, simply because he is the best small forward at Collingwood, whereas Burton has to compete with Goodwin at Adelaide.

I actually disagree. Then again I've never been a fan of Medhurst. Burton scored 65 in a quiet game last week but he gave away atleast one FA and a 50m penalty. Take that into account and his score immediately jumps to 80. I'm a fan of Birdman, I think he is more likely to top 100 than Medhurst. Furthermore worse case scenario Birdman should hold his average over the next couple of weeks barring a really low score whereas Medurst will plummet thanks to his 24. Thus trading out Medhurst later might cost you more than trading out Birdman later.

Definitly keep porpz. There is no reason to get rid of him. So hes scored 70's the past 2 weeks. If he averaged that from week one, you would still be happy because he was a bargain buy at the start of the year. I think im gonna keep him for the whole year unless something comes up that is too good to refuse.

I'm really struggling with picking consistant forwards that will get me at least 90-100 every week.

I currently have in my forward line setup -

Pavlich, Brown, Franklin

Porps, Burton, Medhurst, Hill

Emergencies - Tipplet (crows) Gamble



Second line looks alot worse than the top one IMO.


For Medhursts price who would be a better player to have than him? I had Richo but foolishly traded him out just before the freo game and he stung me up the ar5e.

Is O'louglin a better pickup? Should I have kept Richo instead? Or should I use a combo of a cash cow and medhurst next week to upgrade to Riewolt?

I like the Riewolt idea myself. Does anyone think Richo will constantly average near the 100's or is he as inconsistant as Medhurst? If Wallet doesn't play Richo forward anymore and just on the wing I could see him being a dominant supercoach player.

Would you get rid of Gilmore in the ruck and replace him with Hill or Kosi in the next week or two? The peanut doesn't look like doing anything and I am really disappointed with his efforts so far and its hurting me even more that Cox is playing injured.

What do you also think about the rest of my team? Do they need any drastic changes?

You're on the right track young padawan.

Playing Taylor in your 22 could get ugly if he gets dropped for Mackie this week. I'm assuming you'll upgrade him to a decent backman soon anyway because if he isn't dropped in the next few weeks he will be when Egan gets back.

If not for the tasty propositions of Kornes and Dalsanto I'd be saying upgrade Gilmore before Gibbs. Gibbs's 100 from last week will more or less keep his price up for a couple of weeks atleast.

Rucks besides Cox are fraught with danger. Hille and Kozi are viable options, however for the price I fear you're not really getting value for money and especially not consistancy.

You might find yourself running out of cash cows too (I'm hoping you have a couple of good ones in the forward line atleast).

Edit: Just checked your forward line. You might get into cash cow trouble. Depending on how many trades you have left I'd be looking out for viable cash cows as well. (Or as Walsey would say - or wouldn't say - start chasing some cash cows!). No need to panic yet, but plan your trades out and keep an eye on your cash levels.

I have hill, tippet and gamble as cash cows in the forward line. I've heard about mckinley from the eagles as a good cash cow to get but should I wait another week or two for tippet, gamble or even hill to go up more and then downgrade one of them and use the cash to upgrade gibbs to cornes/dal santo/judd?

What happens if taylor gets dropped tonight? Do I go and buy woowerri from demons to put on the ground instead or michelle pfhier from the blues?

Back cash cows doesn't appear to be working this season, and Taylor was dropped as most people expected. Pfieffer's on the extended interchange so may play if lucky, if you can free up cash else where I'd look at bringing in solid reinforcements like Milburn or if cash is short take a punt on Bradshaw.

Really looking at a rookie or brown from the pies but would have to trade taylor in doing so or hansen or lower for a rookie.

I think woowerri will play at least the next few games. Better than michelle who is in and out of the side like a yoyo.
N Brown is solid but wont go up in price much more than he already has. Taylor is a good scorer and could still get recalled if the Cats get another injury in the backline so worth hanging on to. Can't see Hansen getting a game anytime soon though.

Just traded l.hansen for woowerri from the demons. I figured he will score as well as what taylor did for me and make me some decent cash at the same time. Realising its a worry having a rookie as a 7th defender though. I had s.thompson originally too from the start. Who was to know he would get dropped after one game? I thought he would be a cheap shoe in all year as my 7th defender. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though!

Taylor on the emergency bench with lower from port. Hopefully they both get games in the next few weeks.

Does anyone know if lower is close to a debut? He was listed the last couple of weeks on ports extended interchange bench and I thought he'd get a gig due to ports continuous losses. Sheeds is a big fan of his too and has him in his supercoach team.
