Does "27+" mean 28 or more, or does it mean 27 or more.

I read it as the latter.

Woodson need clarification on this. Also JeffDunne change the description if it's meant to mean 28 or more.

People write 27+ meaning 27 or more, not 28 or more, otherwise they'd write 28+

Temptation Question.

If someone had taken Balt to score 27+, would they still be alive??

DEAD WRONG JD. o_O

Clarification IS >> To score 27 or more.

I always thought 27+ meant 27 or more. Thanks for clarifying that.

Correctamundo as Fonzie use to say.

You're really taking this 'honey badger' thing way after it's jumped the shark o_O

Speaking of such...

HONEY Badger thinks he is AE's Fonzie..

What's this Happy Days phenomenon.
I thought I'd be more a comparison to the Great Gonzo!!

We have three people yet to tip:

apex
mcgarnacle
swannies

I'll send an email too

I tipped over a week ago JeffDunne. The first lot didn't save, I thought the second attempt did. I'll check.
However, based on what I had tipped and what happened in the first game, I'm in for a rough season. :p
EDIT:Changed/updated again JD, and it says saved but it still won't help me. :)

Thanks JD. :thumbsu:

Maybe we should use .5 points as betting agencies do. i.e 26.5 points to represent "27 or more"

This might have already been asked but in Temptation what happens if your team scores exactly 27 points? Is it only over 27 points or is it 27 points or more?

Perhaps I should of been more 'precise'.. yes... it's been updated on the OP for more clarification.
ie: OVER 26.5 = 27+ (In Woodson terminology)

You would think in these days of short hand text lingo that 'Over 39.5' can be simply be typed as 40+?? That's where I'm coming from with TEAM score of 27+. Makes alot more sense and less to type out. In regards to Tomatosauceling's recent post regards lines:

Sorry JeffDunne some of the lines are wrong.
Saints are -3, Texans are -3 and 49ers are -4.5 from my Temptation picks

I view these as Saints & Texans to win by at least 3 here. (no different to the cumbersome looking -2.5 number). Niners to push five points or more as the winning margin. Simple.

I'll leave the bottom line decision to JeffDunne how he wants to display it on the AE site. As long as we all understand the meaning of whole numbers with the 'plus' before or after the number. i.e.: plus before number means underdog adds 4 to total. Plus after the number means to win by that margin or more. Just my thoughts on whole numbers.... I can go either way.

+1

If Woodson 's happy with it I'll change it.

Also worth clarifying is a BURNING Q asked by smiths that allows me to sprinkle some more INTRIGUE to the whole Temptation game..

Smiths's asked:
To clarify...
if you want double points on MNF for temptation, that can be your only selection for the week? or only 1 team on MNF?

And what what better classic cunnundrum to unleash now!!

As TEMPTATION is all about TOPlist management and gaining points, I'm going to GREEN LIGHT to allowing TWO teams (even FOUR for Week#1) to see what it becomes in the concluding stages of the season.

Looking at the Schedule, Week 17 doesn't have MNF so Week 15: Baltimore @ Detroit, Week 16: Atlanta @ SF.. Interesting times ahead.. considering all the TIE-BREAKERS.

Prize Money breakdown TIE Breaker:
If any two or more Temptation players are LEVEL on points with the same amount of TOPLIST teams** the following Prize Money is split accordingly:
Two players: 60/40
Three players: 50/25/25
Four Players: 55 /15/15/15
Five players: 60 / 4 x 10

**Criteria to determine the inaugural TEMPTATION CHAMPION:
1. Highest total of accumulating wins by the remaining 'alive' NFL teams who have served you
2. Most division champions selected
3. Highest accumulating total of scores by each of your remaining 'alive' teams irrespective of whether you sent them in Week 17 or not
4. Highest accumulating total of scores by the opposition of each of your remaining 'alive' teams irrespective of whether you sent them in Week 17 or not

EDIT: Obviously having more 'TOPlist teams' that didn't let you down on your Temptation tasks, with same points ACCUMULATED with another competitor merits to getting you the bikkies / accolades. To be fair tho' I think that it the 89/11 % split can apply to having the same MOST POINTS but less TOPlist teams merits a consolation of the $450 Prize pool.

I will indoctrinate such 'down to the wire' rulings in the OP.

For week 1 tips, is it most confident at the top, least confident on the bottom?

To clarify: Depth Chart ranking is #1 for your Highest / most trusted down to #32 to least preferred.

CR is about POINTS. 16CR is MOST Confident down to 1CR least confident.

So, #Woodson - if we send out more than 5 teams this week we don't get double point for MNF, but if we send 4 or less then we do qualify for double point?
Also, there are 2 MNF games. Can we get double points for both of those?
I think he means MNF only games.
Previously he said to go for MNF double you could only play one team the whole week. Woodson is now saying for MNF week 1, he will allow people to choose two MNF teams (or even four....if you also had their MNF opponents in your toplist).
