i agree nd cr and ko are the main comps meriting badges
tho the others arent anything to sneeze at.
the main thing is, making a badge that isn't too messy for admin to be able to say yes to.
if we have a badge for each comp and one for each year, it will get very messy.
has to be a little more generic...

examples

"AE crown CR/KO/ND" badge, and regardless of year won, the names would all go under the one badge (easy for admin).
Or a "13 crown AE" might be better, without distinction of which comp.

Do what you have to do. The AE Chronicles page coming up (mid August) will be the AE Trophy room for all these lovely comps. And you can bet there will cyber lap dancing shenanigans to include..

This seems the logical choice.. AE crown (year) for those comp winners as an upgrade... except spreads monthly from 2009/10. I think the TEmptation comp will offer such diverse challenges than what many expect... especially with comps being separate and going 'GUNG HO' in any given week by sending in over 50% of your TOPlist teams (planning now which week you wanna strike) is what can shape your Temptation campaign... who knows what might of been had ac83 not taken a BIG Chance on his Niners in the season opener last year (double CR) vs the Pack @Lambeau ... that was HUGE!! Classic No guts, no glory call.. sometimes you just have to measure your gut instinct without fear.

The strategies for Temptation are aplenty. The schedule has all the answers so it's up to all participants to do their homework.

So far we have NINE participants with a couple indicating that the pre-season trial you're running could persuade them to up the ante and tip a tenner in the Temptation Jar.

How about you have some faith in these guys that work hard to make an enjoyable comp for your thankless ass year in year out.

Also, GG - I think its the right way to go just having a crown and year so it doesn't get too complicated. I do however believe the the CR champ, as the marquee competition, could get specific recognition.

YOu really should learn the history of AE.
If you knew it, you'd be praying to your god that it's ready more than a week before the opening game. Let alone before pre-season so we can test it.

Profit?? For someone who 'puts out' on running costs, countless hours to design-reconfigure & keep it functioning to a level where we can still submit our picks is something I wouldn't think is even 'profitable' but more a gratuity of past years efforts. I can also thank GG for he is another who doesn't ask for anything in return ...for his loyalty & commitment to make it all worthwhile is just priceless.

As I remember it, the money that was meant for JD last year was graciously put back in to the prize pool. I also don't think you grasp how much people charge to build and maintain a website like we had + the clubhouse.

What you don't seem to comprehend is I think Woodson does a fabulous job running things. Along with GG and Sven.

As i said before, im handling it a new way, but at the same time, continued thread derailing will = threadban time and again. This is for AE talk, not "ad hominen" attacks that go on all night and the next morning. The thing is, Chad and Tomato can and will discuss AE and chatting to others in good spirits. So I wouldn't threadban them, but you Dirty Bird are asking for a threadban as you just go on and on and on, even when others arent even responding to you, and you havent shown the propensity to chat AE with others for long before deforming into that middle-earth slobbering creature.

He's been trying to get back at me ever since he complained about someone (me) who was watching a live telecast of football, ruining his delayed telecast enjoyment. (Seriously, wtf? If you don't want spoilers don't read a ****ing conversation of the live feed )
Before that day, it was really a mutual feeling of not giving a shit about each other.
Since that day he's gone out of his way, trying to get me banned from everywhere. THe amount of times he's tried to go over GG's head to Messenger or Chief is beyond belief. If he has a problem with me and doesn't want to deal with me, it'd be logical to **** off rather than destroy your own reputation just to get payback.
