Was on Minny all week, changed the other game about 6 times

Surprised you took the option to flip... you had the lead 81-76 going in... it was up to Big Red Machine to surpass you. I would of kept those invaluable five points that will prove plenty down the stretch. I know I surrendered over 60+ points last season chasing ND wins to try snare my first Division title. Got lucky this week that AmericanCrow went with the better QB in a relative 50/50 contest.

You are talking like the Broncos were a 12pt favourite and this game was always a tricky selection as we discussed yesterday.

Nonsense, as our FO would tell anyone--I played really hard this week and didn't quit. It was not a loss but rather a moral victory over you.

Week 1 is always a pain in the arse.

That said, this Week 2 is particularly bad, and is certainly not helped by the TB/MIA bye giving us no form line.

Why are people switching and chasing ND wins in Week 1? Much better of sticking to your guns, going for the AE glory and once out of that start chasing the ND wins. It's a long season, why shoot yourself in the footy early on?

There's a few toughies, but a lot of teams are fairly easy to predict I feel. That said, there are particular teams that are going to be a pain all season (Seahawks)

Titans - Screw me every time i tip them with high CR or tip against them. Nightmare team for me.

Chargers - Just never give them anything more than 5 CR for or against any opponent!

Jets - Maybe not this season as they are crap but very similar to the Saints comments.

Smart call there Crowman23. As parity continues to be the norm in this league, we're bound to have stunning results weekly. It's forever a challenge to determine which smokies are gonna emerge on any given Sunday. Many early season CR leaders have tried many tactics in seasons gone by to get the whip cracking early and open up some buffer zone but it's the pressure of maintaining that which is virtually impossible to control. ac83 was challenged back in '12 but he needed luck to kick away... (read: chasers dropped their whips).

WEEK 1 3XKO UPDATE



64 lives lost and it is only week 1. The patriots looked a good thing early and 39 people would have been feeling pretty comfortable until the Chiefs steamrolled them in the second half. Thanks Pats for a nice start to season 2017.

Well my own Texans were dreadful, surprised 12 people had them as one of their lives. Expected a win but not surprised at the loss.

The Bengals were arguably the worse performed team of round 1, held scoreless by the Ravens and costing 4 people a life.

A wide variety of teams chosen in week 1 by people with one of their 3 lives, others included :

NO Saints - 2 lives
LA Chargers - 2 lives
Titans - 1 life
NYJ (yep) - 1 life
Indy - 2 lives
NY Giants - 1 life

One person already eliminated (Burningleviathan ) who forgot to tip in this comp. Unluckily for him all the away teams in the final 3 games of the round lost.

Overall there are :

12 People with 2 strikes already
37 People with 1 Strike
24 People with 0 Strikes
1 Person eliminated.

Week 2 looking even tougher......

Detroit are my Bogey team, for the life of me i cannot tip them correctly.

Detroit games give me troubles and my AE fortunes seem to always hang on the outcome of Packers games.

Oh and the Redskins always trip me up. **** those guys.
