HOT STREAK UPDATE

BeinPurplenGreen (10) and the chasing pack of Starlin Castro (11) peterbuch74 (10) crowman_23 (10) and Woodson (10) would have liked another successful week like Week 2 in order to bridge the gap to Hot Streak leader swannies and his 16.

The leaders avoided a scary looking TNF matchup, however Island Bomber and aussiedude sidled up to the leaders by correctly adding the Rams to their streak to move to 10.

Next game up was Baltimore and the Jags. The Jags win snuffed out 24 active streaks, ending the run of starlin castro, aussiedude and last seasons champ Kadog, who dropped out at 9. Only fuey escaped the London bombing and pushed his streak to 7 with the Jags win.

The next game saw the Broncos having the faith of the Hot Streak crowd. 26 Hot Streakers were on the Broncos and 26 streaks stopped advancing, including woodson whose streak ended at 10.

There weren't a lot of takers for the Saints-Panthers matchup, but 49 streakers saw easy money by picking the Steelers to upend the Bears. Like the San Francisco team of the same number there wasn't a lot of success as 49 streaks failed to advance. Notable among the failures were beinpurplegreen (streak ending at 10) crowman_23 (10) Island Bomber (10) aussiedude (10) and arakaan (9)

By the Atlanta-Detroit match up only one of the front runners from last week remained - peterbuch74. He avoided the early games and successfully banked New England and Green Bay to take his active streak to 12, 4 behind swannies competition leading streak of 16.
Avoiding the early games seemed to be the key for success in Week 3 as the best active streaks all belong to tipsters who did not make a Hot Streak selection before the Houston-New England game : shiny_on_top only added two to move to 9. statsman74 added 3 to move his streak to 8. Billiever moved to 7 by correctly picking New England and Green Bay and superfreak didn't add any games to remain with an active streak of 6.
Will swannies be topped in week 4, or is there more Hot Streak carnage ahead?

3XKO UPDATE WEEK 3

60 Strikes in week 3, repeat 60 strikes in week 3. If ever a wrecking ball crashed through AE this was the week. As well as the 60 strikes we lost 8 people from the competition. Is that good or bad ? ......bad for the 8 but it means the other 64 are closer to the title

Main culprits were the Steelers who not only stayed in the tunnel while the anthem was played but failed to also show up to the game afterwards.....21 big strikes to them. The Raiders......11 strikes, always risky tipping against the skins at home. Miami....8 strikes, hard not to laugh when you lose to a team that possibly could have gone 0-16 this season. Other main upset was the Broncos .....8 people again and like the skins always a little risky tipping against the bills at home.

Eliminated - 10 people
1 X Strike - 22 people
2 X Strikes - 38 people
No Strikes - 4 People

This week no-one broke 100 I think? Heaps still won with scores in the 60s??

I am not leaving Big CR on Monday night games anymore as they are mostly upset city as teams look to bounce back in front of a national audience and i want my ND match up to try and be decided before the last game.

Well doing my tips this week, Im glad i dont have all 3 lives left in 3XKO. wish i still had 2.

There are a 6 games that scare me this week because of it being a road game for a team i would of easily picked if they were home. a few of them have caused me to pick the home team.

Yes. Pick a winner two from the top, skip four, pick two winners in a row, skip one pick another one, skip five pick two. At the completion of the round, you might have got first three right then got one wrong then got another three right. So your best streak was three, which ended with the wrong pick, but then you started a new three right streak which you will take into the next round. And on it goes
