HOT STREAK UPDATE

swannies entered Week 4 with his streak of 16 still leading the competition and with a lot of challengers falling by the wayside in a crazy week 3.
The names at the top of last weeks chasing pack took a measured approach to Week 4. peterbuch74 only added 3 games, succesfully, to move to 15 - one off the lead.
shiny_on_top moved to 10 with the Packers TNF victory and only loaded up on 3 other games for the week. Unfortunately the first of those, Atlanta, snuffed out his streak. The Falcons also knocked out statsman74 whose streak of 9 went no further.
Billiever, coming in with a streak of 7, also took a steady approach. The Packers pushed him to 8, and he avoided the Falcons, but loaded up on Dallas, where his streak was Rammed out of existence.

superfreak added nothing this week to remain on 6 where he was joined by a pair of tipsters who loaded up on every Week 3 game and got HOT with the last 6 games of the week. Galactic and PHX added the Cards, Eagles, Bucs, Broncos, Seahawks and Chiefs to jump on to the leaderboard.

The opening games of week 5 sees a number of games that could potentially go either way. Will peterbuch74 once more navigate through the week and take ownership of the Hot Streak lead and will we see a new challenger enter double figures? Or will there be more Hot Streak carnage?

I didnt need to tip the Skins to beat you though; if the Skins won we both get it wrong and I beat you by 2. If the more likely thing happens, and KC win, then I couldnt beat you anyway - by tipping KC at least I didnt sacrifice my overall score.

I tapped into Chadwiko Inc. who has his thumb on the Redskin pulse. Said that the 'Skins will need to bring their A-game (uh duh) but really, I DID BELIEVE they had a serious chance here despite history being against them (8-1 KC's way h2h) never had beaten the Chiefs at Arrowhead in four tries... I liked their chances here. If Norman doesn't get hurt... who knows, the outcome may well would of been different without the 'last hope of victory' after Doctson couldn't hold that ball upon coming down. Makes me appreciate Santonio Holmes' winning clutch catch in SB XLIII even more.

Some folk are carrying on like it was a fait-complete. It WASN'T. I knew the risk was tremendous. But on the flip side. PHX has had a monster week to rise from eq45th to be on the CR Leaderboard. So, it's up to me to butter up and make Week 5 something special. GG was close as ever also. If the Redskins made prevailed.. the reactions on this board with the THIRD WRECKING BALL creating more carnage would of been hilarious. I gave it crack but fell short.. bad luck for me. I had a gut feeling Buffalo would push the Falcons (didn't pull the trigger unfortunately but did pick the Rams) and wasn't as confident on NE at 9CR... but y'know, I've found that each time I've questioned the Pats, I've been burnt. So I thought... Brady will put up the points.. just a matter of how Cam is feeling on the day.. I benched him in my fantasy which was my only real boo-boo. Black Cats snatched victory I noticed so at the end of the day.. my TNF evaluation of doubting the banged up Pack really hurt me the most.

Not only Norman, but with the other 5 injuries they suffered as well it could have been a completely different story.

Despite tipping very poorly week 1, I've had little trouble deciding on my picks each week. Just looked at the week 5 schedule tonite and FMD it's awful. Bloody Awful. What a horrendous batch of games.
