HOT STREAK UPDATE

The main point of Hot Streak interest was peterbuch74 and his active streak of 15 being within 1 correct selection of tying competition leader swannies for the competition lead.

He avoided the TNF game, but his closest competitors, PHX and BeinPurplenGreen , didn't. They moved to 7 and 6 respectively.
He avoided the Bills-Bengals game, but PHX inched forwards one more.
He avoided the uninspiring Jets-Browns matchup and he saw PHX bomb out, but BeinPurplenGreen moved to 7 as did SodaPop who racked up his 3rd straight tick for the week.
The Panthers-Lions matchup didn't catch his eye, but it caught SodaPops as he moved to 8.
He avoided the 49ers-Colts, and I'm sure SodaPop wished he did as his streak ended at 8, while BeinPurplenGreen moved to 8.
Miami-Tennessee? Not for PeterBuch. BPG on the other hand bombed out with the Titans loss. Meaning the closest active competitor to PeterBuch at this stage was now superfreak who hadn't made a selection this week and carried over his 6 from the previous week.

The Chargers-Giants game tempted our active streak leader. Loading up on the Giants, his Hot Streak hopes went down like a Giants Wide Receiver, keeping Swannies lead of 16 safe for another day.

The Jags humbling of the Steelers brought out 51 red crosses and many had to reset, once again.
The only success stories of the week were those who made no Hot Streak selections for the week. From those heading the best active streaks : superfreak on 6 Bipolarbear (5) swannies (4) and aussiedude (4) added no selections this week, tomatosauceling (4) only added the Eagles while Osmodiar had a reasonably successful Hot Streak week to also move to 4.

Will we see anybody crack double figures next week, or will this up and down season continue to protect swannies lead?

Week 13
Each Conf will consist of : SIX Div winners = BYE
TWO WILDCARDS WILL BE ISSUED for EACH CONFERENCE
Week 13 is a floated week of Wildcard determination if required, otherwise no ND contests.
The two WILDCARDS will be determined by the following criteria:

If two or more wildcard records of the same Win-Loss-Tie (percentage), they will both / all contend
for the last spot in Week 13 providingthe following tie-breakers ofqualification in case of a TIED CR score in WEEK 13 eventuates:

ND WC Tie Breaker
1. Outright best Win-Loss-Tie(percentage) record <Overall>PRIMARY
2. Best CR score of Week 13 Secondary option IF REQUIRED
3. Head to head (if applicable)
4. Divisional record Win-Loss-Tie (percentage)
5. Conference record Win-Loss-Tie(percentage)
6. Common opponents
7. CR overall total from Week 12 (countback)

Wk6 TNF Wrap: A wide open no-name WR was awaiting Cam Newton to put the ball in his hands but instead, Cam Newton saw movement midfield which was where a no-name Eagles CB was covering the zone... Cam Newton literally gifted the Eagles the game with three minutes remaining and then still got another chance to move the ball into Eagles territory but missed opportunities is why the favoured Panthers didn't get the result.
Carson Wentz was tidy enough to keep his Eagles ahead and apply scoreboard pressure that basically allowed them to hold off the Black Cats. With a minute into the third quarter, the momentum was turned over after Jonathan Stewart looked intoxicated in trying to catch a dump pass which deflected off his arms and into the waiting arms of a former 2010 Nawlins first rounder CB, Patrick Robinson. Eagles' QB Carson Wentz, only needed two plays to find an open WR for a walk in TD to put the Eagles up 18-10 and basically the Eagles were never headed after that costly yet goofy Jonathan Stewart mistake.

Looked like it might be another brave loss for the TNF underdog. Happy to see the Eagles get the job done.

The Panthers are a very unlikeable team/organization for some reason. I don't think it's just Cam Newton. Perhaps also their offensive style. Whereas Eagles are more aggressive/entertaining on offense.
