Wow, GG.exe now within two of the Hot Streak lead, what alternate universe have i landed in?

While the top remains steady in a world unknown (JD and GG flying high for the second week straight) .. The shuffling of the deckchairs below the elitist continues.

Balmain, Swannies and SBlack head the AE regs making their moves towards our unlikely leading duo in week 4. Can they continue the mass leapfrogging with similar results in week 5?

Meanwhile at the other end of the spectrum our sinkers of the week include some big names (at least to themselves and their mum's)

Mrs. TGBB will be bitterly disappointed and demanding Woodson recounts her son's score after falling for the second straight week. (perhaps its time to start drinking then tipping??)

Mrs. Fuey is starting to panic after #1 son has gone backwards for the second straight week since a quality week 2 score.

Week 1 must seem a life time ago to Mrs. JME, but at least she still has a HRS at seasons end to look forward to regardless of what happens from here.

3XKO UPDATE - WEEK 4



Slight update to the image above, Bipolarbear was eliminated previously so he shouldn't appear on the above.

(Edit : due to an error in Bipolarbear being able to pick 3 choices in week 2 and getting 1 winner instead of the 1 choice he was entitled to he is still in the competition. Our error)

The remaining people (15) all breathed a sigh of relief this week with no eliminations. It was a pretty even spread of tips with both the LA teams being the overwhelming favourites with 8 tips between the two teams.

Perhaps things have settled down now that we are past the first month of games but in the NFL anything is possible.

HOT STREAK UPDATE

Not a lot of red this week, with the Titans and Bengals wins being the only real streak killers this week. Still, the Titans win was enough to do some damage as it took out the two highest active streaks coming in to the week which knocked out arakaan and Kadog

Steady progress was made through the week as the leaderboard looks a lot stronger this week than last.
GG.exe added 6 correct games to his streak to hold the best active streak of 8 as the week concluded, to be within 2 of current leader pedge7 and his 10
Just behind GG is BornAgainIdiot who also added 6, to move to 7 where he is joined by swannies who went 7 from 7 this week.
Also taking their streaks from 0 to 6, this week, was Chism Oscarman and Knackers who round out the leaderboard.

Back from my USA trip and catching up on many things... burnt the midnight oil last night compiling 4 weeks of Next Duel results to bring you all the following standings

The Pats make it eight consecutive wins over the Colts as Brady joins another immortal club of three who have 500 passing TD's. Meanwhile the 3XKO has locked TEN in the treasure chest excluding the high flying GG.exe who has somewhat resisted in including the Pats as his shoe-in pick despite his 10CR. Others to overlook the Pats had higher CR than GG.exe including Pats fan, Pedge7 .

The pressure is on for the likes of Bipolarbear and matt_897 to avoid the DZE as 87% have gotten off to a double digit start in a week that could have bumps and grinds.

The Honey Badger and Kadog have benefited the most already with an ND jumpstart and their 3XKO ticket punched for Week 6.

ND SNF wrap: The Texans found a way in the end to outlast the persistent Cowboys in OT which help determine 11 SNF contests after nine were decided after the late games. Pedge7, statsman74 and BornAgainIdiot take in leads into MNF to try keep their undefeated streak intact.

Of the Popcorn Pearler match ups yet to be determined, we have a rip snorter match up between Jatz (3-1) and RiggoDiesel44 (2-2) which is all tied up at 87 apiece. TCol (3-2) is hoping a RD44 victory. Battle of the Crows feet is a 8pt differential in favour of the 2013 CR Champ, Crowman23. The Brian Dawkins Division Powerplay has the undefeated Statsman74 ahead of Swannies 70-63 but the resilient 'Skins fan is within arms length of another scalp. The Ed Reed Division features current leader, Billiever in a topsy turvy affair against Marcuz (1-3) where it's a four point margin in favour of the Bills fan but a very credible effort by Marcuz with three less winners selected.

Bigredmachine (1-2-1) got a polished start after TNF with the Pats (13-0 start) but Bipolarbear hasn't flinched in reeling in the Ravens fan thanks to the Browns OT upset win along with the Lions which were the catalyst swing games of 30pts total to give the Browns fan a 40-29 early lead and holding at 60-56 after the late games. As they both selected the Cowboys high CR on SNF, it just opens the door again for MNF with BRM needing an indifference pick with his 15CR which won't be enough to overtake the 14CR by Bipolarbear.

Also suffering a blow from the TNF head start is 11sjw (1-3) who crashed and burned with the late games after holding a commanding 40-25 lead early. Demonic Ascent took the Vikings by the horns for a 17pt swing and nine more for the Texans result has put the Jets fan in the box seat for MNF, leading 85-72.

Others in the box seat include: balmainforever (vs JME), Pedge7 (vs Nobbyiscool), Hide & Zeke (vs Jayzah) and Born Again Idiot (vs The Red Goldmine).

The two upsets brewing are camsmith (1-3-0/60th ) (vs Marklar33 >> 3-1-0/23rd before week 5) with the Bronco fan ahead by 10 and simonoz (1-3/eq21st ) leading the undefeated Boomer Esiason division leader, PHX (7th) by 7pts.
