I went 0-5 with the lowest of my CR rankings. :(

Steelers / Titans / Cardinals /Colts and Falcons all lost who i selected with low CR in what i thought were danger games. I got the danger part right but still missed on all of them.

Still an overall 84 score sees me well around the Top 20 mark with a crucial ND division win which i will take from a Week 1 that was a 3XKO wrecking ball for many.

Most that sensed a danger game in Cleveland will be right up there IMO and i did to but the Chargers screwed me going down at home against a rookie QB.

Not the 1st time the Chargers have ****ed me over in AE either. I still keep giving them a double digit CR though.....:think: :drunk:

BUT if i go against them as massive 7+pt underdogs rest assured they will win the campaigners. o_O

Yea my main culprits;

Having Detroit so high up in CR and with a 3KO bullet was terrible in retrospect by me when considering Bill Belichick's coaching tree.

Im still not massively convinced about Cleveland (should be more competitive but not convinced they win over 4 games), perhaps Pittsburgh is just a mini shit show this year though.

New Orleans, i still dont believe. How does all of that D from last year give up 48 at home to Fitzmagic?? Plenty of bath water drinking done over the preseason obviously. From a Carolina perspective i hope they dont but reckon they'll turn it round pretty quickly and make that game an aberration.

I also sensed a danger game for Detroit but i could only have them so low!

Tipping site i use often were all over the JETS but i stupidly ignored them and still kept Detroit at 8CR after moving other teams under them i was more nervous about and you cannot give 6+ teams all 1 CR!

That's is with the 6pt head start but still i still did not think the Lions would drop this game.

Me being already 30 points behind the lead in CR and 0-1 in ND will loosen the shackles somewhat going forward, looking forward to being bit more daring in my selections in week 2 after going plain jane on 99% favs in week 1.

Favourites in the NFL have the LOWEST success from any other major league world game. When i say favourites i mean 7+ pt BIG favourites or teams paying under or thereabouts 1:20 in a 2 horse race.

NFL has always been this way and it is very unpredictable from week to week.

Chargers are annual tipping trolls and it's easy to lose points assuming they will play to their potential. Having said that the chiefs were probably worth more thought as they can come out week 1 looking beastly like they did in 2017

I'm kicking myself for thinking anything would be different in NO's this year. A waste of an 3XKO pick tipping the Saints in a divisional game,opening week against a backup QB. I should have known better.

And just to rub salt into the wound, Superfreak pips me in ND in the (other) highest scoring game of the week. :(

Steelers burn a heap and i knew this game was gunna be dangerous and i had Steelers at 1CR mainly because of the weather.

Fitzpatrick has a career day as the Bucs play their SB in Week 1 burning many more 3XKO lives, week 2 does not get much easier folks after tomorrows games so buckle up again. :thumbsu:

Yep both the Steelers and the Saints burnt me, down to 1 life already

Also I put my tips in Thursday ti make sure i had my picks but was sick all weekend and don't actually reorder them for the confidence points. So I ended up with 15 on the Lions..... I tipped them but usually would've had them down for less than 5.

Lucky I was playing GG.exe in ND other wise the it would've been a wipeout week 1 ;)
