You guys seem to be getting the hang of this as green ticks abound.

Hide&Zeke took his competition leading 15 in to this week and correctly backed the Steelers, Bengals and Patriots extending his lead to a competition leading 18, where he is joined by statsman74 who, starting on 14, added KC, Steelers, Bears and the Pats.

One tip back is simonoz who moved from 14 to 17. AE16 Hot Streak champ Kadog who went from 12 to 17 and JeffDunne who leapt from 11 to 17

Behind them is Oscarman who increased by 3 to move by 16, 11sjw and Jatz who each added 4 to reach 16.

Biggest bolter of the week was DarkKnight who jumped from 5 to 14

Most unfortunate for the week was Gridiron Warrior who, starting on 10, nailed the Texans, Eagles, Chiefs, Steelers and Redskins before bombing out on 15 courtesy of the Lions loss.
Island Bomber also bombed out on 15 after hitting on the Texans, Chiefs and Rams before being undone by the Vikings loss.

Will week 9 bring some more red crosses to the board, or bigger and better streaks?

Pats Vs Bills..............on the 1% chance that the pathetic Bills could take down the Pats, I sacrificed the game to move into
a tie for first on the minimal chance that IF the Bills somehow pulled it off, the Pats loss would take down all & sundry in Hot
Streak and leave me alone sitting on top. At halftime I was still hopeful hahahahaha...........by the 4th Quarter I went to bed
shaking my head. Worth a shot I guess

That will be duly noted in the AE18clubhouse weekly wrap that I'm preparing. You seem to look like some kinda genius as late into the third with the Bills trailing by only six. There are still 135 games to pick from.

3XKO UPDATE - WEEK 8

No eliminations this week with 13 people still remaining in the comp. All have only 1 strike left. A couple of "riskier" picks in HOU, CHI and PIT saw Woodson, Kadog, Moo and Be Like Mike all continue on as part of the 13. Riggo and his Rams pick would have been laughing / sigh of relief when Ty Montgomery fumbled his way to Baltimore.

What a WEEK we have coming up!! It hasn't gotten any more intense than this so far with so much on the line with several Divisional Powerplays that can make or break many in a tie-breaker down the stretch. There is also two rip-snorter Top Ten knuckleduster match ups to keep an eye out for.
Just 13pts separates Chism and Gridiron Warrior who are mid-table with Chism claiming the earlier bout 84-77 in Week 1. Gridiron Warrior has worked his way back into the Urlacher Divisional race after a horrid 0-3 start. It's sure to be with a fierce fight when Cowboys and Steelers fans get it on.
Hide & Zeke has steamrolled along in emphatic fashion coming from last (1-3) after week 4 to rattle together four consecutive wins to be atop the Marvin Harrison Division, one game clear of Galactic who is on the outer fringe of the Top TEN. It was a helluva armwrestle in Week 4 when Galactic just managed to bring the extra fibre of muscle on MNF to edge out his Cowboy opponent, 100-97. With less than ten points separating them in the Top 20, this match up is snarling like any other Divisional Dogfight assembled this week.

There is a surprising discrepancy of 43 points that separates the 2011 3XKO champ, shiny_on_top (5th) and the two time major champ, Island Bomber (eq27th) who holds onto the lead of the Ladainian Tomlinson Division with a 6-2 record which comprises of a 4-2 record against opponents with winning records. Their third meeting in Week 3 was a 74-65 result for Island Bomber who opened up with a fast 3-0 start but ShinyOnTop has punched out four opponents by double digit margins in his 5-1 start. It's a massive Division powerplay match up for both as ShinyOnTop seeks to snap a two week skid.

Two one sided victories for statsman74 against swannies is something that shouldn't qualify as a Popcorn Pearler match up especially after Bigredmachine (48th) pulled down Swannies (51st) pants in a blow-out 104-79 result last week. Swannies is one game behind Statsman74 (14th) who also had his strides pulled down by mcgarnacle (55th) in one of the bigger upset results in Week 8. Does Swannies have a chance to leapfrog Statsman74? You bet but it'll need the inaugural 2011 Raffle Romp Champ to start putting scoreboard pressure early like he did on PeterBuch74 in Week 4 when came away with a surprising walk-off win before SNF.

The Double Crown Champions of '14 and '15 meet again as their first and only match up back in Week 2 was a sneaky narrow 88-85 victory by Nobbyiscool who needed the result in a low CR swing game of 5pts when the Jaguars popped the Patriots. The Randy Moss Division is such a gruelling division with one game still separating first to last as the deck chairs in this division continue to shuffle. The winner here will claim the top spot irrespective of what happens in the Danielz23 vs A11dAtP0w3R Divisional Dogfight.

And to add to the Deliciousness of the seven Divisional Powerplays are two more pound for pound Popcorn Pearlers that merit your undivided attention..

CR HEAVYWEIGHTS BLOODS33 (3rd) vs PETERBUCH74 (10th) go at it again despite both playing second fiddle to the Drew Brees Divisional Undefeated Leader, Born Again Idiot (7th). It was high standard matchup back in Week 6 with PeterBuch74 serving up the equal fourth best score of the week (105) but unfortunately for the two time CR Champ, the defending CR champ, brought a touch more spicy mustard (119) to the fight of the much anticipated first overdue duel.

Another mouth watering match up sees the CR Leader, OSCARMAN and SHOWBAG (4th) meeting for a third time with a even split as their last encounter in Week 12 last season was just a two point shoot-out in Showbag's favour as Kurt Warner Divisional foes. This contest is set to GO OFF like fireworks on the 4th of July. Who will light the fuse and who will colour the Leaderboard brighter with just a high CR differential is all that separates them.

TNF Week 9: Two of the trainwreck teams go h2h with not much enthusiasm from the AE punters. The AE Leaderboard is split 3-3. Swannies and sblack are the only two to really take on the Raiders with any real confidence. Niners fan, TheRedGoldmine (14) picked OAK in Hot Streak!! Something has to give with AE consensus having the best start on TNF in any season vs the Home Teams dominating.
