Walking it off after being effectively 30 points back, What a comeback![]()
Four ND Division winners have dropped their contests whilst FIVE have finished on a high including Pedge7 who will fly the flag as the #1 seed from the Marty Schottenheimer Conference. Showbag has officially clinched the Jason Witten Division due to a tie being the best result Starlin Castro can achieve. Three Division winners awaiting a MNF result as there is also still THREE Divisions yet to be determined.
HOT STREAK UPDATE
![]()
Coming in to this week we had 6 active streaks of 10 or more and 40 active streaks less than 10. After the Cowboys defeat of the red hot Saints 6 active streaks of 10 or more remained and only 20 active streaks less than 10 survived.
Nobody nibbled at the Ravens-Falcons game but the 2 game combo of the Panthers against the Bucs and the Bears against the Giants got people excited - and deflated - as red crossed littered the board. Still we had 6 active streaks of 10 or more as the leaderboard remained unchanged.
The Colts defeat of the Jags saw more streaks fall by the wayside and the pack behind the top 6 active streaks was getting very thin, led by Moo on 9 and Oscarman on 8. Both who hadn't made a selection up to the Colts-Jags game.
The leaders avoided most games until the Rams/Lions tilt. With Demonic Ascent TheGreatBarryB and shiny_on_top backing the Rams. The successful result saw Demonic Ascent move in to the joint lead with pedge7 on 25.
The Packers against the poor Cardinals grabbed the interest of the leaders with pedge7 (on 25), AmericanCrow (on 18), TheGreatBarryB (on 18) mcgarnacle (on 14) and shiny_on_top (also on 14) backing the Packers at home.
As with Mike McCarthy the result of the game saw their tenure also come to an end. Leaving Demonic Ascent with a 16 tip buffer ahead of Moo on 9.
The four games of Chiefs/Raiders, Jets/Titans, Seahawks/49ers and Patriots/Vikings was a lot more generous than the earlier games with a lot of success stories coming from these games before the Chargers tipped cold water on some streaks that were reigniting.
By the end of the week 13 it was all Demonic Ascent, who had taken his score to a competition leading 27. Oscarman hit 5 late games to move to 2nd in the active streak list with 13, while Moo stayed pat with 9 having not added anything to his streak.
How will Demonic Ascent manage his large buffer, will the next four weeks of games be generous enough where we see a bolter charge through or is it done and dusted?
Wait, you don't have to pick every game with Hot Streak? What a ******* chump I have been for years.
Nah, you can pick and choose as you please, whatever you feel works best.
Here I was baffled by the epic streaks I was seeing.
