I fully don't expect Orange Cassidy to win, but this is a big opportunity for him to show he can hang in a main event spot while being this new serious character.

So happy that The Outrunners are getting a PPV spot/Tag Title shot. They are awesome.

Lashley vs Swerve will be interesting, I think Swerve wins, but Lashley should be made to look strong in 75% of the match.

they tried to explain the Death Riders angle a bit in the Countdown show by essentially saying that the major stars (Hangman, Swerve etc) are preoccupied with their own personal issues, so that's why Orange Cassidy is the man stepping up to defend AEW/challenge Moxley.

Great to see it's free on Main Event... It's definitely a ploy to try to keep wrestling fan subscribers who are thinking of ditching Foxtel due to the WWE channel closing down soon. The fact that it's not on Kayo 100% confirms that as most who cut the cable with Foxtel will simply pick up (one or both of) Binge & Kayo in the new year for a lower price. They wouldn't want current Foxtel subscribers to think they would get the same thing at that lower price.

As for the show itself, I'll try to avoid whatever a Big Boom is on the pre-show. The main card looks just ok, but AEW usually get it done on PPV. One request (that will undoubtedly be ignored): Plese don't drag the main card much past 3 hours.

I mentioned (asked about) it in the AEW thread. The yellow is on so many of them (including Ricochet!) that I'm starting to wonder if it's something other than fake tan.

Just seen the pre-show

Anna Jay vs Deonna was very cold, no reactions.

The 4 way was solid. Komander impressive, crowd was behind Buddy Mathews.

That Big Boom AJ vs QT Marshall match had no business being that good wtf. That act is over as well, bigger reactions than most of the talent which is pretty sad. I went into this thinking it would suck and I'd hate it, but they did well.

Also more teases of Mone treating Kamille poorly. and Max Caster being weird as well, I reckon he's gonna turn heel soon.
