I didn't think there was a bidding process for the old NSW scholarship process. Clubs could select a NSW scholarship player with their last pick in the national draft or rookie-list them, without having to counter bids. As far as I know, there were only 3 NSW scholarship players drafted as part of a national draft: Tex, Craig Bird & Jarrod Witts. There were some others that were rookie-listed.
There was no bidding system for the NSW Scholarship system. Sorry if my previous post was misinterpreted.

I meant that if nobody bid for a FS selection then he could be taken with the last "live" selection, just as Tex was (due to him being a scholarship holder).

New CEO's plans of "putting the right people in the right seats?"

All rumours about potential trade targets dismissed. Let start again.

My money will be we won't land a big fish this year. By the time we've appointed a coach everyone would have formally/informally committed to other clubs.

Since Sando is now gone you'd have think that Pod's impending coach deal might get a review. He could be a candidate to be delisted before the deal comes into effect.

I think you pretty much take it to the bank that Pods is gone. He won't hang around, I also suspect that he may have been part of the problem, whilst I thought he was alright throughout the year I think Sando was seriously overvaluing his performance and I wonder if this didn't resonate well with the rest of the playing group.

How will sando gone affect the jeremy cameron rumours? We will need to have SOMEBODY signed before trade week
I would say most trade targets whether it's JC or another player would want to know and speak with the coach before signing on.....

This is why I believe the club has someone already targeted

don't know about the rumours, but in all honesty the fact that we've ACTUALLY sacked Sando just makes me feel like JC, Aish, Carlisle, Bomber Thompson and Bassett are already on the plane

EDIT: I mean a lot of people seem to be in disarray about it and think Bicks or Goodwin are shoe-ins but give me a break, did they miss the announcement that Smart was not made CEO? I feel like we're going places, big time. I'm excited.
