I think Noble is on the record earlier in the week saying that we always keep and eye on SA lads and want to bring them back home. He did talk about Aish as well and how we are following him progress and his cousins works at the club and gives them updates on how he is going. He did say that "stars" need to align in order of trades to be struck as sometimes the club and they player are at different points of the journey.

Having said that, if Aish is available, I have no doubt we would be asking the question and pushing for it. He is a young kid so burning draft picks on a 19 year old does not impact your list profile much. He will be a gun player and fits our list and core midfield group well.

If Aish is available (which I doubt), I would be staggered if we didn't go after him HARD!

Griggy to Aish "Yeah its a great club mate, stuck me in the 2's all year and every game I played I had the vest"
"Hey mate just thought I'd let you know it looks like this clubs started givin' a shit now. Axed the guy who wasn't giving hard workers a chance and the boys club is on the out! Pretty exciting I must say. Nothing's set in stone yet but look at the group you'd be working with on the field! The passion is flowing back."

To much focus and effort is put into keeping an eye out for sa lads interstate. Honestly Scott Thompsons is the only one that has really requested to be traded back to us. I know Jacobs did but that's because he was some how behind warnock and hampson.

Only new here... But would Geelong take Kerridge for Christensen??

Brisbane:
In - Beams & Christensen
Out - Aish & Pick 4

Adelaide
In - Aish
Out - Pick 10 & Kerridge

Collingwood:
In - Pick 5 & Pick 10 (could swap to Melb for pick 3)
Out - Beams

Geelong:
In - Kerridge
Out - Christensen

Maybe passing on of later picks in there too??

Just a though!. Keen for Aish to get to the Crows!!
Brisbane reamed.

This - when you count the amount of kids drafted out, it ends up being a very minor % that comes back.

Do we even have a representative in attendance during the trade period?

Seems like we don't exist when you read the latest gossip.

I thought we might be quite active with the likes of Lyons, Petrenko, Grigg, Kerridge, ect. as potential trade bait. In particular, I thought Lyons would be gone by now.

On a different note, it was good to see the AFL Giants hand Hawthorn a top 10 pick for nix. That was nice of them.

Given Walsh's comments wanting more left footers, I can't see Grigg being considered for trade

Thing is most of the stuff being talked about at the moment is rumors or players wanting to leave dysfunctional clubs. Should be pleased we aren't being talked about.

I'm confident we're involved, we just don't leak information anymore.

Yep. Big fish etc... Also the red horse in biblical terms relates to the end of peace.. or something like that.

I don't think some managers would even consider pushing our club as a viable option? I don't think Pickering would even thing about saying to Aish, "would you like to go to the crows"

Yet, one allegedly will become our list manager and he is getting one of his players to Port Power?

Why isn't he selling the crows. AFL managers are like used cars salesmen - after the sale, they don't give a shit and have zero integrity.
I can categorically tell you that isn't true for all. I know one quite well and he is excellent (only manages one Crow player at present).
The good ones do their best work between contracts, not just during contracts and pay days.
