The Bulldogs probably don't have much incentive to trade Griffen uness it's a mega-deal like 4 + 7 or pick 4 with an absolute young gun. They'll likely be bottom four next year and would get a pick after that one anyway (if compensation still exists) should Griffen try and leave at the end of next year. Can't think of a more irrelevant club than the Doggies.

people are forgetting that with Patton down boy not performing they will want a key forward for Cameron as part of the deal. Port have 1 key forward avreaging over 2 goals per game in shultz and he is 28 , we have 3 not including walker in JJ, LJ(yes LJ) and lynch. They are all 26 or under we have the upper hand

Or he could be catching a flight to/from Mount Gambier, what with it being all of a short drive over the border from Dartmoor (where he's from).
If he's leaving Adelaide Airport.. he's clearly visiting Adelaide. Could be a multitude of reasons I agree.
But during trade week?
Its not a stretch to assume he's meeting with one of, or both, of our local footy clubs.

I reckon Griffen is taking one for the team.

No chance of him helping the dogs see any success before he's completely cooked - so he is selling himself to get the WB a better deal.
Not out of the question. Couldn't handle the responsibilities of the captaincy as well. He is very quiet and has nothing to do with footy after hours.
