Port Power F/S Jase Burgoyne playing League for the Port Magpies on the weekend also so WWT must have given him the green light I guess?

PORT

Port Adelaide has included a pair of new faces for its blockbuster SANFL Showdown against Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Collingwood premiership defender Tyson Goldsack and Woodville-West Torrens teenager Jase Burgoyne will both make their League debut against the Crows.

Goldsack has recovered from a knee injury while father-son prospect Burgoyne is spending the next month with Port as part of his involvement in the club’s Next Generation Academy.

The son of Peter Burgoyne will then return to Woodville-West Torrens for the remainder of the season ahead of the AFL Draft.

Surely he would've made their reserves side ??

Come on down Blayne and Isaiah for our 2's if that's the case?
nah, leave them out of any potential limelight thank you..

last thing we need is one, or both, of them to come into the sanfl side and light it up proving themselves against grown men given draft scouts highly regard that...

May as well get them to sit out of footy for the year
its a conundrum...

first year we could possibly have a couple of our Academy players maybe top 20 quality and, orcourse the AFL have to go and * us over and change the rules.

we want to see these lads play their best at the highest level yet, if they do, we get punished for it.

dogs walk away with pick 1 last year and they are a top 4 team. what a joke of a system.

Hard to see either going top 20 at their size and their positional status.

Isaac Keeler next year is a different story altogether.

F/S I think are allowed with special approval from AFL and their parent club.
That's not what's stated on their SANFL site and it would be unlike Zac Millbank to be wrong on something like that.

No to mention the FS still remains - Daicos possibly #1

If that's the case why are the AFC not integrating potential NG players into their SANFL side. PA seem to be more pro active!

I agree if the eligibility is to be a club NGA Academy member which appears to be the case given Zac Millbank's piece on the SANFL site I'm sure Blayne and Isaiah offer more than most of the current top ups skills wise at least....and both lads though not tall are certainly better built than Jase Burgoyne at this time.
