Some decent mids going now. Leftovers due to the KPP purge of Rounds 2-6
Was a very good player and a champion person but there are no sympathy votes on offerHave to say hendo8888 is my fav recruiter to watch, on paper his teams are always the best.
Botched Picks - Rounds 1 to 5
22. deaneus - Jesse Hogan - Melbourne
Just something about this bloke. I know he's had off-field issues out of his control but just has always seemed a little flaky to me. Can see him throwing the towel in and heading back to Perth.
36. 1990crow - Tom Hawkins – Geelong
Started to look cooked last year. History of back issues. Will be spoon-fed by the midfield trio of Danger-Selwood-Ablett which may save him but I reckon he's a fading force.
37. 1990crow – Daniel Talia – Adelaide
Hate to say it but our boy looked awful last year. Talk that he takes a long time to recover between games. Never been an athlete and in an increasingly fast paced game just seems like yesterday's type.
49. adelaidecrows - Billy Longer - St Kilda
Enough said. Will probably play reserves.
64. Danoz - Jarrod Witts - Gold Coast
WTF? The usually astute Danoz has plotzed here. Was it the 2 marks per game or the 2 goals for the season that seduced you?
69. hendo8888 - Jarryd Roughead – Hawthorn
Don't like to say it but he's doneWas a very good player and a champion person but there are no sympathy votes on offer
76. hendo8888 - Todd Goldstein - North Melbourne
The dinosaurs are extinct. Sorry hendo

Just wait til the Rounds 6-10 edition!Thank god i wasn't on the daunted list![]()
Certainly goes for a strategy and sticks with it.
But does that win in the AFL now? Richmond had a fairly young, Zippy team.
Not as strange as one from the first round last yearBilly Longer at #49 is one of the strangest picks I've seen
Which was???Not as strange as one from the first round last year
Taking Billy Longer at #49 when there was still an absolute plethora of good (and guaranteed starting) ruckmen is the strangest draft choice I've seen in the two years playing this game... Baffling. I stand to be corrected if he busts out and becomes a beast, but that was wayyyyyy leftfield.
In just 17 games managed 10th spot in total hithouts and was 3rd overall in average hitouts per game. Maybe, just maybe if people start looking at stats they would realise he isnt as left field. He didnt do enough around the ground last year but another solid preseason and he certainly should.
