Yeah I was thinking similar about Hodge, but then I remembered Brisbane's side, and even a cooked Hodge would be close to their best player.

If Shaw is cooked though, he might find it hard to poll well in the crucial B&F

Hodge I was actually considering with my next pick, he's likely to perform well considering there's not a lot of mature talent around him.

Shaw, on the other hand - others could well produce better numbers and impact next year

Shaw is interesting. There is some chance he's cooked - but reading most of the discussion coming out of that club, it sounds like they're really going keep leaning on him to organise the defensive structures, especially without old mate who's gone to Freo. I think he's one of the first picked - until he IS cooked, then they'll move on.

Pick 213: Connor Blakely

My team needs more Freo midfielders with great hair.
Had a real break out year in 2017, averaging 28 touches between rounds 6 and 18, before getting injured in round 19. Finished 8th in Freo's Best and Fairest, despite missing 5 games and being injured in 2 others.
Will fill either the defensive midfielder role, or half back role in my team.
