You know, I didn't play last year, and this is the first time I've tried to draft according to "1 point per game, 2.5 for making the AA squad, 10 for Brownlow" or whatever. I think it's great, next year i'll add points for being nominated for Rising Star and winning Rising Star, just to make later rounds more interesting; will also add your total score is the sum of your best 25 players, so you can quit after 25 rounds or go all the way to 30 for insurance or something.

Anyway, my team looks like a curious mix of has-beens and such, but i've tried to moneyball the **** out of it. Did not help that the first weekend of play - i.e., days two and three - coincided with the Ashes Test, a.k.a., the only bender deaneus goes on all year*, and that I didn't start a spreadsheet until about pick 200 to keep track. I'm quite enjoying it though. I can see clear errors in my drafting, but i think i've still done very well.

One more pick, will look at list and see what's left.

Yeah, but that was just a list of the top tens at each club - outside of that, i had nothing, no way of keeping track or knowing who was left.
