In these tough times of sliding down the ladder to second place we need to turn the blowtorch on everyone at the club and make them accountable for the slide.

So I ask what part have the cleaning staff had in this slide?

Is the place as clean as it could be? What improvements could be made and/or how would we do it better?

Have they switched the fabric softner used to wash the jumpers each week? Do they even use Fabric Softener, if not why not???

Why do they keep selecting old cooked hopeless cleaners over young developing cleaners? The person in charge of rostering has no idea
But wait, there's talk of bringing back last year's veteran in and under the chairs and tables floor swabber. The cafeteria will suffer for this.

He's going to take up all the cleaning jobs, so the younger better cleaners get bored and move into other cleaning jobs

guy's we're overreating here

we've got a kid who's coming up the cleaning ranks and is expected to go pretty high in this years Australian Cleaners League Draft. he's the son of a former champion cleaner who himself was one of the zippiest in the business. we should be able to get him under the father son rule

he will be the second coming - the place will never have looked so clean

If Mookay, gets to clean we are going backwards as a club !

I believe the guy in A/c Payable is also accountable

CROWS CLEAN UP CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS

by MICHELANGELO RUCCI - chief football writter and Port propagandist

'The AFC is proud to announce they have re-signed their cleaners on a multi-year multi dollar contract.

The AFC stated that "this new deal provides us with confidence going forward that our bins will be empty and the Gatorade will be mopped from the floor of the change rooms".

It is believed that the Crows head of football, Brett Burton, had been in intense negotiations with the cleaners, who apparently had been approached to clean the Geelong Cats change rooms. A significant sticking point in negotiation was the perception by the clearness that they were disrespected by the "Gatorade Shower" given to new players participating in their first win. It is believed the crows appeased the concerns of the cleaners by agreeing to use Powerade instead, and by pointing out how infrequently they actually debuted players.

The football club can now turn their attention to their mail staff who are threatening to resign due to the clubs increased use of electronic-mail, or 'e-mail' as it is often called.

Despite the good news, many sources are questioning the crows secretiveness in holding these negotiations in private rather than in a forum open to their fans. This has become common practice for a club desperately trying to define its identity and find its soul. Perhaps they merely need to look across town to see how these negotiations should be handled.

MORE TO COME.'
