Why is it so juicy if no clubs were willing to draft them in either drafts? Doesn't this tell you something? So Callow, Baldwin, Kolar and Maher none of them picked. Going to be a juicy supplementary draft first pick once Gibbs goes

Where has FAITH gone?
He goes on the inactive list after the final List Lodgement, and then plays for South Adelaide in the SANFL.So what happens with Gibbs now. Does he stay on the list all year. Does he play for SA or AC in SANFL?
We can't delist a player mid-season. Players are contracted to 31st October each year.South Adelaide
he will be delisted before mid season draft
And Brett?...ahh my bad, he'd be over on the GC board acquainting himself with his new supporter base now that Hollands is thereWhere has FAITH gone?
We very well could, IMOWonder if we already have someone in mind to list as soon as Gibbs is finalised?

With shortened lists clubs seemed more interested in keeping the talent (or not having to delist and pay out) they had rather than bringing fresh blood in on the rookie list. Why is it so juicy if no clubs were willing to draft them in either drafts? Doesn't this tell you something?
Sadly, the reality is that not every player makes it. We will select the best of them, and those who don't make it will subsequently fall by the wayside. At least we now have depth in those positions, allowing us to pick the best player available on form & ability - where previously players were selected by default, because we had no alternatives. Now there is competition for positions, so they should be striving to make themselves better, in order to win/hold a coveted spot in the 22 ahead of the others.Think I might be getting nervous if I was Murphy, Stengle or to a lesser extent McAdam. Bringing in another 2 small forwards when McHenry and Jones are possibly going to play there too would lead me to believe a few might be surplus to requirements.
I wouldn't be worried if I was McAdam. Pretty much cemented his spot in the side last year playing an important, versatile role in our forward lineThink I might be getting nervous if I was Murphy, Stengle or to a lesser extent McAdam. Bringing in another 2 small forwards when McHenry and Jones are possibly going to play there too would lead me to believe a few might be surplus to requirements.
The only reason Kane wouldve wanted Adelaide to pick McDonald is so he could spread rumours every year for the next decade about Logan wanting to return to WA...Surely people could see this coming from Kane? He would have been loving this! He was pushing for McDonald so he could have ammunition up his sleeve but when the draft panned out as it did with so many SA lads, he would have have been looking for ways to dig the boots in. I doubt he slept much last night just thinking up the ways to stick the boots in.
Probably by ladder placement at the time, rather than end-of-2020 ladder, but the AFL's media release wasn't exactly clear on the matter. So do we get first pick in the supplementary mid year draft or does it go by ladder placement?
Some really good options for us to look at with Gibbs spot. Pretty smart by us really. Put some of his payout money outside the cap and then free up a spot for mid season draft.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB JACKSON
EDIT
Our pick was the ONLY pick in the entire preseason draft
Clubs were only allowed to draft 1x 17yo that year, and there weren't 18 clubs back then either. KMac may be derided for not being Pavlich, but he was still the 2nd or 3rd best of the 17yo kids drafted that year.
Any player not selected last night has been rejected 70+ times (59 selections, plus 11+ passes).
No current season stats available
Luke Parks looks decent from Glenelg.. handy pick up for Carlton, plenty of upside.
Adelaide was the only club to even contemplate selecting Pavlich. He simply wasn't on the radar for any other club. Adelaide made a conscious decision to overlook him, and for that mistake we've forever been tarred.I think one of the strangest Crows stories is around McGregor and Pavlich.
Every single club passed on Pavlich as a 17 year old, including Port who took Adam Morgan. At least McGregor actually amounted to something. Not sure why it's always us that cop the "you didn't draft Pavlich" stick.PLAYERCARDSTARTAdam Morgan

'Wanted' is not the word I would have used observing him, he gave off the distinct impression that he was 'scheduled' to attend.
Hopefully we can turn whatever pick Melbourne/Carlton/St. Kilda give us for him into a decent replacement via trade next year
So Callow, Baldwin, Kolar and Maher none of them picked. Going to be a juicy supplementary draft first pick once Gibbs goes
