Sam Berry has speed and skill and plays like Shiel, Cook could possibly development into a tall outside mid after his growth spurt.

Not fussed about the Rowe selection. Message from the club before the draft was that we'd take four selections in the ND, must've planned to take Rowe in the rookie draft after elevating Keays. Then must've gotten wind of a potential swoop in the ND, so took him with our final selection

I think we had some pretty obvious targets in this year's draft. Pedlar/Cook/Rowe seemed to be targeted from well out

Overall a nice result. Not a knock out of the park but reasonably happy

Classic Adelaide. Could have taken one of Baldwin, Maher, Lake, Dumesny, etc. at pick 1 in the Rookie Draft. We kept Mackay on the list instead and he has already injured himself before the draft.

We obviously didn't rate any of them. Neither did any of the other clubs, given that nobody selected them and many clubs passed with their picks at the end of the draft.

I mean we're getting two as DFA (Hinge) and as Cat B rookie (Borlase), but that's the way we should be getting them given the talent in our defensive prospects already at the club

Wasn't there some talk Carlton were into Rowe and we traded with Port to get one pick in front of Carlton which was the pick we used on Rowe
