OP updated to include Lyons' decision to re-sign for another 2 years.

Jacobs is signed till end of 2013. Looks like we need to sign Rutten, Thommo, Tippett, MacKay and Henderson. I want to get Hendo signed up worried he might look elsewhere for more opportunities after being left out despite a good start to the season. Very pleased to have Lyons signature.

I've updated Jacobs' entry, albeit with a '?' until it's confirmed.

Mc Kernan is contracted until end of 2013
bugger...

Do you have a source for this? Happy to update his entry if we have something official to indicate the length of his contract. The problem is that the Crows refused to specify contract lengths in their media releases in 2010 & 2011. Thankfully that policy has changed in 2012.

Horses mouth. Spoke to the Big Fella after NAB cup victory and he confirmed this after i had posed the question

He was on the 2013 list anyway, albeit with a "?" next to his name (thank-you AFC for not specifying contract lengths in any of the 2010/11 media releases). The "?" has now been removed.

The years in brackets seems to be somewhat inconsistent. VB was drafted a year before Vince and Porps but all are showing 8 years

This is to indicate the players' free agent status at the end of the relevant contract. The 8 years in brackets actually means 8 or 9 years - the distinction is irrelevant for free agent purposes.

OP updated to include Henderson's shiny new 3-year contract.

Not sure how Henderson earned or deserved a three year deal, considering he's 24 and is still not an established a permanent spot in our first 22 not sure why would we be committing him to such a long term deal.

Seems like the type of decision that Peter Rhode seems to make over at Alberton.

There have been more three year contracts than previously. This is a reflection that we think the window is opening. The problem will be that many good players will come out of contract at the same time.

We gave Brodie Martin 2 years.. in that context, Henderson probably deserves a 5-year contract.:p
