No.

But you could do what I do, have an account and not tweet anything. I have had an account for 9 months but never tweeted once. You could just use it to follow other people.

AIOF provides some good advice there. Its a great way to get all your info for Sport and news, and find out as it happens.

@... is how each account is identified. Adelaide's account is @Adelaide_FC.

#... is a way of grouping tweets together based on the topic of the tweet.

For example, during the Gold Coast v Adelaide game, the official "Hashtag" was #aflsunscrows. You can then search this hash tag and read all the tweets based on the Suns v Crows game.

Thanks guys for convincing me to sign up for twitter, I added warney, one of my childhood idols only to read some of his tweets and lose so much respect. The bloke carries on like a 15 year old school boy.

On a positive note some of the tweets from the boys are rather funny

It is so irritating reading his tweets to Liz. Don't they live together 24/7. Surely you can text each other.
