So 3 weeks without a game. Unless someone pulls out. Knight would have made more sense.
You’re correct - but there is the positive of gaining travelling routine experience and being around the 1sts.

It's not going to help everybody (and a borderline prospect is likely to be harmed by it), however in the case of McHenry where it is a genuine case of when not if, it doesn't harm.

Finally, common sense has prevailed.
Some of the skill errors in this game by the AFC have been diabolical.
We should be 5-7 goals up but now sitting a couple of goals.
Our transition into forward 50 is horrific even with no pressure at all.

Blatantly obvious HtB by Stengle goes unpaid and ball goes down the other end for a goal. Wow.
Far these umps are either incompetent or under instruction.
Stengle just tackled a port player to the ground, after a 360 turn and 2 opportunities to dispose of it. Not holding the ball

In case anyone wondering, scores at half time are 11-5 to 5-5 to us.
Well we are up by 6 goals at half time, should have been 10. But anyway.
My thoughts on a few players.
Fogarty - I'm not sure what they are doing with him, only 8 touches but a couple of classy goals.
Stengle - i don't know how much longer Murphy holds him out. Pressure, uncanny goal sense and tackling machine. Maybe juat doesn't get enough ball.
Wilson - if he can't get a game in this form cant see how he ever will.
Dougie- will slip back into the AFL with ease, class above.
Seedsman - I'd be tempted for another game in the 2s. Been ok, done some ok things but seems rusty
Jenkins - can't ruck, got out marked a few times, but has kicked a couple. Isn't dominating, not sure what to think.
McAdam - really not sure, seems to get to the right places though.
Some of the other listed guys looked good, Jordan Butts and Will Hamill for example.
