Afghanistan v Zimbabwe in UAE (2 Tests and 3 T20)

Zadran in his brief career has 3 half centuries and averages 47

Rahmat Shah actually has a test century and a couple of 50s

While he has some ability with the bat Khan has never scored more than 60 in any format locally or internationally

The skipper Afghan that’s batting at the moment has 3 50s including a 90 in his five Tests to date.

If the want to get decent they need to trust their batsmen to improve.

I saw him rescue odi innings in I think last series he played. Good eye. If he batted higher would have better record.

I guess this is a better wicket compared to the previous match, Afghans enjoying this pitch, last match's wicket had grass on it, which the Zimbabweans exploited to their benefit.

Yes this looks like a typical UAE pitch. Now the Zim seamers don't look like getting a wicket and the part-time spinners aren't good enough. Not sure why they didn't pick any specialist spinners.

Asghar Afghan doesn't mind a slog. Could be set for a massive score

It’s disappointing that guys like Williams have got to play so few test. Granted he is unlikely to be a legitimate champion but could of been a Zimbabwean champion

Good showing by Zimbos all things considered. Wonder how'd they do against Pakistan at home in a month??

Gripping final day. Afghanistan did well to claw back this victory & level the series. Sean Williams making it extremely difficult for them with a stubborn innings, even with Rashid dishing up some devious wrong uns out there.

Williams must get player of the series, surely. Hoping in the next series Zimbabwe play some of their young guns such as Masvaure & Burl can score some solid runs as Zimbabwe are due for a bit of transition phase in the next couple of years.
