can't do that, where is there an install button?ok this is how i got it to work:
*you need winrar
1. download the game
2. extract AFL.Live.2004-MYTH.tar
you will then see lots of files called mytal4**.
3. highlight all of them (theres 58 of them)
right click > extract to mytal4**\
4. in the folder you just extracted double click install.exe
5. click on the little folder button.
6. locate your mytal folder eg.
![]()
7. wait for it to install(this will take 1-3mins)
8. there will now be a folder called AFL2004, go into it
9. double click setup.bat and wait for that to install (takes 2-3mins).
10. double click SetupReg.exe and click install.
11. play the game using AFL2004.exe

I'm trying to play AFL live 2004 on Microsoft Vista but it doesn't work. It comes up with (afl live 2004 has stopped working.there is no solutions to it. How do i get it to work for Vista.
Note: It was working yesterday, but not today at all.
reinstall maybe?
AFL games have never worked on Vista, as far as I'm aware. I have tried 2004, PE and 2005, with no success. 2004 and PE work on XP, for me. 2005 has never worked.
And for those editing teams on 2004, I've done the 2008 West Coast Eagles squad. PM me.
Some things to note:
- You can edit the ALLPLAYERS.CSV file in Excel (CSV files are designed that way). Much easier than notepad I would have thought.
- Make sure you keep all the field positions the same (I had a few crashes before I realised that replacing someone who is starting in the Centre... say Ben Cousins... with some who is starting in another position fuggeds it up)
- I haven't tried swapping starting field positions around... yet. That's my next test.
- You can full go through and edit skin colour, hair, kicking foot (do it in Excel, and you'll see).
- I haven't worked out if you can properly get a player's picture from one club to another (ie. Tyson Stenglein is using Kane Munro's picture in my squad, because the program would crash if I tried to use the player ID data from Stenglein's Adelaide Crows profile...).... has anyone worked this out>
I had no problem changing starting positions, you just have to make sure that you don't have two people starting in the same position, and only 4 on the bench, I changed the entire start squad for Collingwood
check the first postI'm interested in all of this type of editing the game and what not and just wondering if anyone has a link to where I can download the game?
cheers guys!
