Good to see Brisbane fans trying to defend their club. I was pretty much doing the same thing 1 year ago when people put Port last.
I don't hate Brisbane at all, I think in 2013 they played exciting footy under Voss. In 3 games vs West Coast/Geelong I was actually barracking for them. I am just unsure on Lepptisch due to not coaching a game yet. A few good NAB cup performances can easily change my opinion.
Will keeping a close eye on the Powder Puff girls this year as they actually have a proper draw unlike last year...

It helps with the young guys. James Aish for example, his idle growing up was Simon Black, and now he's being coached by him. He's said he's loved working closely with Black and hopes to learn a lot off him
Well in that case, everyone edit your posts... Brisbane are a shoe in for at least 15th.

That is a mentoring role not a 'coaching' role you describe. All im saying is great players don't necessarily make great coaches.

Your prediction is yours that's fair enough but do you honestly think we'll only win 1 match or even none ?

Please explain? We lost one best 22 player (Yeo), and recruited about 3 ?? And we have Beams returning from long term injury
You lost 5 top 30 picks, who you would've put a lot of work into, and Simon Black. That's a lot of depth. If you think a bunch of 18 year olds are going to come into the best 22 and perform better than those you lost, you're a fool.

All of the top 30 picks were duds (except Yeo). Most of them hardly played a game this year, and when they did they had no impact whatsoever. Yes we wasted a few top picks on them, but losing them won't hurt us at all. Simon Black was injured all year and only played a handfull of games - his loss won't hurt us too much either. If you look at our list we have plenty of depth and it's very hard to pick a best 22.

I never said our new draftees will be in our best 22, I said we recruited 3 people who could be in our best 22 (Mcguane, West and Paine), they are all mature agers, plus Beams returning from injury. Aish should slot into our best 22 though, he already has 2 senior SANFL premierships under his belt

I was thinking exactly what you said as I typed it , thus the "be all and end all" qualification. :thumbsu: The Eagles list is better than 13th, but IMO is also shallow and the loss of Kerr will hurt.
Kerr hasn't had an impact at the eagles for years, playing one or two good games a year isn't a massive loss. Would you say losing Kosi is bad for the saints? No, and like Kerr did nothing since 09/10.

Don't get me wrong, I think you guys did extremely well during the trade & draft period, but it's pretty stupid to say 5 top 30 players that left your club are duds. You're either bitter about them leaving, or you have shit recruiters. So I don't understand how your recruiters picked 5 top 30 duds, but have picked up best 22 players this year.

You picked up great additions this year, don't be a bitter twat and slag off players just because they didn't want to stay at your club.
