I'll be giving, yes giving, my ticket away to one lucky BF user from the competing teams. Stay tuned.
If Richmond make it, keep me in mind please! I'm eligible for a ticket but my dad isn't and would love to go with him, and am doubtful I'd be able to get one another way apart from scalpers.

If anyone has a spare ticket they want to offload for the Grand Final, please keep me in mind if Richmond make it! I'm eligible for a ticket but my dad isn't and would love to go with him, and am doubtful I'd be able to get one another way apart from scalpers.

If you want to get a gf ticket you need to look to get your hands on a barcode that gets you a ticket or in the draw. Much easier to come by than the ticket itself.

Any idea how I can get one besides knowing someone? I guess theres a decent chance of getting one from a sydney fan next week that cant travel

I got 2 from some guy on here in 2015, it was his first and last post, they were kids but you can upgrade them at the game. Just ask around on here and FB and anywhere else you can think of.

You're unlikely to get one from another teams fans though.

Yeah I understand people wont want to give them up to supporters of other teams. The only problem is I doubt any Richmond fans are gonna give theirs up. :(

They don't guarantee entry. What they do is offer a limit of 60% of available tickets in the AFL Members Reserve first to Gold AFL Members of the competing clubs. They normally get no where near 60% and that limit would only be threatened if it were a Collingwood vs. Essendon GF as these clubs have high Gold AFL Member numbers.

Other than that, your post is correct.

I say they don't guarantee entry, they just give you the first offer. It's not uncommon for Gold Members of the competing clubs to pass up the first offer for tickets as they would prefer to sit together with friends and/or family who are not members of the competing clubs. Personally, I wouldn't do this if my club was in the GF but each to their own.
Sorry you are absolutely correct. As an AFL Full Member with Adelaide Club support, should we win the PF will be there no problems at all.

No need to worry about either Collingwood, Essendon or Carlton in the short term.
