Congratulations Gold Coast your team is looking really promising, another disappointing result for the eagles although it was always going to be hard without our key forward. On our current form it's hard to see us staying in the 8 and playing finals but I'm optimistic. Hopefully we can regroup over the bye.

I don't understand how West Coast lost that game. up by 2 goals with the ball in their forward line with about 5 minutes left. They seemed to have all the run. Then suddenly they just go to sleep and Gold Coast goes off? Seriously, AFL is a mess these days. How many teams are up with a few minutes left and can't hold the lead/momentum. I'm thinking about the Collingwood VS GWS, Richmond did it.. 3 weeks in a row? it's just unreal how mentally weak these players are.

West Coast played really poor. Bye has come at a good time for them, they need to push the reset button. It's time for them to make some tough calls at the selection table, too many passengers in their side.

This is a fair call but these losses don't necessarily incite the changes that we would like.. so essentially just a nothing game.

Correct it's time for the coach to realise that we are miles away from a premiership and retire off priddis, Le cras, butler, Mckenzie and trade off a few others. No point trying to make finals should look to play as many youngsters as possible and finish as low as we can to start the rebuild
