Liked - Another round of interesting outcomes and unforeseen results

Learnt - That this season is still open wide and no team is a certainty to win the premiership

Hated - Seeing the Bulldogs not turn up to the SCG

Liked: Melbourne winning a close one, was the most intense game I've seen this year!

Learnt: Essendon at its best is exhilarating to watch and can be a threat to most teams. Decent shot at making the 8. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Hated: Nothing.

Learnt: Carlton has some sort of je ne sais quoi.
Hated: Nothing

Liked: Watching what our team has the potential of being in the future. Brought pressure and skill that Port could simply not match.

Learned: Carlton have a young kid called Marchbank who will be an AA backman one day.

Hated: Watching Wingard put on a diving clinic.

Liked: The underdogs winning, particularly Carlton. Great example of effort and belief against expectation and over-confidence.
Learned: No team is a certainty this year.
Hated: Port players diving. The constant whining about the umpires by supporters after any close loss - weak.

Learned: Fans will do their best to discredit any win against their team
Hated: Commentary - Derwayne calling a players injury Karma, consistently getting names wrong when calling and interpreting umpiring decisions wrong.

Learned: Sydney may not make finals, but, could be a spoiler for challengers.
Hated: Clarko being a moron blaming umpires and not his players.

Collingwood fans need to chill. sounded palpable there today.

Hated
Ryder being booed. He left in a terrible manner, but we didn't really have the high ground to stand on. We didn't boo him in his first game against us, and we got a decent talent in Laverde for him. let it go.
Whinging - Port Cheersquad, Clarko, Pies fans at the game - why so serious...

Collingwood fans crying after the game, in the words of BT, COP THAT JOFFA
Getting back into the top eight,
Learned:
Essendon can play really good footy.
Port Adelaide aren't as consistent as I thought they'd be. Top eight no longer a certainty for them.
De Goey really needs a consistent run in the middle, the kid just has "it" in him.
Collingwood fans need to keep the faith, the team is going places. Less braindead plays from Maynard and Smith would help.
Hated:
Umps not paying about a dozen holding the ball frees on Josh Smith, Treloar and Crisp
Collingwood actually have a very good midfield and in time that team will be very strong.
David Myers has become a complete spud

 

[Herne Hill Hammer]

Liked : Dees v Pies game. Petracca, De Goey, Maynard. Carlton, Gold Coast.

Learned : Dixon is not the number one contested marking beast in the game.

Hated : No Cats game.

Learnt: GWS are progressing like a beat up old Volkswagen and somebody has lost the keys to the Ferrari.
The Saints might be shot.
Port might be pretenders?
Bolton should be signed to a long term contract before another team offers him huge money to coach them. He is a $500 - 800k a year coach. Pies, Suns, Saints, North, should all have a real crack at him. The Blues need to get him committed long term. The big bucks will be on offer for Bolton.

Liked - Swans down WB, G Goast over the bigtime Hawker, Brisbane Lions, Ablett & Aish.

Learnt - 4 umpires no better than 3..?

Dislike - Bottom feeders sitting near boundary abusing players.
Some poor umpiring in the Croweaters v Saints & Carlton v GWS Giants games.

Liked: Watching some awesome come from behind victories from carlton and melbourne.

Learnt: That Essendon have a bad sportsmanship issue when booing a former player of their own.

Dislike: People who don't understand the rules of AFL footy and spend most of the time abusing others that know the rules.
People who abuse the umpires on the free kick count. (check my username it's because of you whinging morons).

Learnt: The GWS reserves beat the seniors. Clarko is no fool, but you know slagging the umps will cost. Why bother?

Hated: The effort shown in Brissie by my mob. Fair play to the Lions mind.

Already Knew: What an open, competitive season.

Liked: Blues getting over gws

Learnt: Until we clean up our disposal we'll be a bottom team that we are currently, this season we are top 3 in most indicators like disposals, Marks I50, F50 entries and 11th for disposal efficiency. Talk about f<kn infuriating!

Hated: Pies supporters blaming the umpires, that's not how we roll, sure the Dees got the good end of the stick but it did not cost us the game. See "learnt"
